Le Rocamadour a voir

Très agréable. A 5mn de rocamadour. Le propriétaire accueillant Très sympa . Petit déjeuner très bien . Chambre agréable et confortable. Beaucoup de choses a voir dans la région. Je vais y revenir bientôt.

hôtel de charme

Hôtel au calme à proximité de Rocamadour. Mathieu nous a très bien accueilli et tait à notre écoute. Toilettes face à la salle de bain, grand lit, clim etc. Le soir la salle de billard était à notre disposition. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet à volonté pour les gourmands. La piscine est ouverte jusqu'à 20h. On reviendra!

Avslappnad miljö med mervärden

Trevligt hotell i lantlig miljö. Bra rum och restaurang, mycket bra service. Tillgång till bl.a pool och biljard. Närheten till Rocamadour är ett plus, dock inte på gångavstånd.

cadre calme, chambre propre et fonctionnelle, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner varié. Le seul bémol peut être pour le restaurant que nous n'avons pas testé car tarifs un peu chers et surtout peu de plats "légers" pour le repas du soir comme par exemple des grandes salades. Mais nous sommes néanmoins très satisfaits de notre séjour

A piece of heaven

An incredible place to stay near town but quiet. The staff are truly delightful and it has a very relaxed yet elegant feel too it. The highlight was the 3 course meal served beneath a stunning tree in the garden. Every mouthful a delight and the head waiter's recommendations were perfect so listen to him! We would love to return soon. Ideal way to start 2 weeks in Dordogne and Loire regions!!

Séjour très agréable

Très beau charme extérieur

Bien situé, hotel avec un charme extérieur et un cadre typique de la région. La chambre et la salle de bain trop petites. Un vrai jus d'orange ne denaturerai pas avec la qualité et le prix du petit déjeuner. Une déception sur la décoration intérieur.

Utmärkt hotell i naturskön miljö

Et fantastiskt trevligt och naturskönt beläget hotell en knapp kilometer från Rocamadour. I anslutning till en terass finns uppvärmd swimmingpool. Möjlighet till promenader i närbelägen dal.Utmärkt restaurang med trerättersmeny och vinlista med bl.a lokala viner. Mycket trevlig ägare/personal, hjälpsam och engelsktalande.God frukostbuffé i solig matsal. Bra wifimottagning på rummet. Sammanfattningsvis ett utmärkt och charmigt litet hotell som varmt kan rekommenderas.

bon hotel d'étape

Nous avions une chambre rénovée !!!! tout y était parfait ......mais ce n'est pas le cas des chambres non rénovées (p.ex sans climatisation !!!!) le restaurant est à recommander malgré une carte peu étendue, le petit déjeuner est très cher par rapport à ce que l'on vous propose : beaucoup de sucré pour peu de salé !!

Hôtel calme qui mérite le détour...

Petit hôtel très sympa, de charme, calme, bien indiqué, et où l'accueil était irréprochable. Seul bémol: le restaurant gastronomique, certes excellent, mais où l'on paye vraiment trop cher pour manger vraiment trop peu...

Le Troubadour mérite le détour

Très bon accueil, personnel attentionné, très bonne table, cadre très agréable. Attention toutefois après le 11 novembre tout ou presque tout est fermé ( activités musés, fermes,châteaux grottes et même l'office de tourisme de Rocamadour). Il est recommandé d'appeler l’hôtel car il peut y avoir encore des chambres de libre et plus une seule sur internet.

At first we were disappointed that the hotel was so far out of town -- not walkable. However, the dinner there and breakfast were outstanding. The pool was not heated but sitting in lounge chairs listening to the sheep was very peaceful. A very nice stay, and excellent value.

Great Country Setting

We had a wonderful stay at Le Troubadour. The service was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and very comfortable. The hotel is outside the town of Rocamadour but was very easy to find. We enjoyed the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Great get-away location!

Lovely location at Rocamadour

Very relaxing and would be fantastic in warmer weather. Ideal for us with a small dog for walks in the surrounding countryside.Local restaurants are very good and seem to welcome dogs ,although meals a little pricey because of it being a tourist spot. The Hotel service was excellent ,although the room was quite small,but very clean and the bed was also excellent.

Tranquil hotel lovely location

This is a beautiful,peaceful hotel set in parkland. The swimming pool was much appreciated in temperatures of 30 degrees. Charming rustic style room with a modern bathroom. The owner's son(?) was very friendly and attentive.The evening meal, although of good quality was we felt a little over-priced. We did not have breakfast. We would however stay here again.

Close to Rocamadour

Perfectly placed for visiting Rocamadour. Pleasant hotel, with chalet style rooms, and a swimming pool with loungers. Very peaceful. Hand held shower in bath not good. Dinner was excellent, and the service friendly and welcoming.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Sehr zuvorkommende Behandlung durch die Besitzer. Es handelt sich um ein Schloß aus dem 16. Jahrhundert mit lediglich 4 Zimmern. Man darf daher nicht die Perfektion eines modernen 5 Sterne Hotels erwarten. Trotzdem sind die sanitären Einrichtungen auf dem heutigen Stand. Die Einrichtung ist unvergleichlich. Das Frühstück findet in einem sehr schönen Saal statt. Ich habe noch nie in einem Haus mit einer derartigen Atmosphäre übernachtet. der einzige Nachteil ist, daß kein Restaurant vorhanden ist. Davon gibt es allerdings im Umkreis von 10 km genügend. Die Besitzer geben auch entsprechende Empfehlungen.

Claustrophobia, French style

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel--it was the poorest hotel we stayed at in our three week trip through France--and we found incomprehensible its three star rating. The room was tiny--it felt claustrophobic. The manager/owner was unfriendly and not helpful. He was clearly displeased when we told him we did not want to take demi-pension (we made this decision after surveying the dinner menu, which was expensive and offered fewer courses in the Tourist Menu than are generally offered in French prix fixe menus). The reception desk featured brochures on the area that were free at the Tourist Information office, but which the hotel charged 1 Euro 30 for. In general we had the sense of miserliness and unfriendliness.
