Clean, quiet though right downtown...much less street noise, oddly, than other DTR hotels where I have stayed, comfortable! Would stay again. No more complimentary breakfast though (from website: You'll also wake up every morning to our complimentary continental breakfast! Enjoy fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, and delicious waffles! ).

My family stay at this hotel quite often, its clean, close to great restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We love it.

Clean and very convenient. Unfortunately, the homeless made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I didn’t want to venture out even for coffee. I understand, there is nothing the hotel can do about it.

Room and breakfast area were super clean but the hotel was obviously a motel at some point and needs further renovation. There is an overall musty smell to the rooms that’s like entering a thrift shop. The room was comfortable but the walls are paper thin.

Couldn’t get inside the lobby to get a cup of coffee at 10:15 said lobby is closed. They would not let me inside ..very odd. I chose to stay because it had over 8 ratings but it’s not even close to a 6.

Nice beds and pillows, clean linens, worn facility. Security door and window, market across the street had people hanging out late at night and felt unsafe. Near to downtown and a walk up Mt. Rubidoux.

Based on the rating of excellent, I was very disappointed. It is a motel, not a hotel. The furniture is chipped and cracked. Carpet needs to be cleaned. Not a place where you would take a date or your family.

Staff was very helpful from check-in through check-out. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the dining area was clean and comfortable. Juice machine was a VERY nice touch. Area is fine during the day, but at night - a little sketchy. You are fine within the property, but if you get hungry - better to drive to a better neighborhood than shop across the street. Solid value, enjoyable stay.

Not a hotel..just a motel
Although the beds are very comfortable, we have a room with 2 double beds that has very little room for anything else. The shower only has a small corner shelf for soap, but no place for shampoo or anything else. Although it was advertised as having breakfast daily, there is NO breakfast at all.

Old, small room, no continental breakfast available, traffic noise. Disappointing. Would not stay there if ever had to go back to Riverside again! Left a day early due to death in the family. Now have to contend with site that reservation was made thru per owner.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay was not a good one. Regarding the 1 night refund, you do have to contact Expedia, because you booked and paid via Expedia therefore they have to refund you. You were kindly informed by the hotel staff to contact them and when you do, we will approve a free cancellation on your 2nd night's stay.
