"This place is cheap normally(relative to Omni/Residence Inn) and in close distance to the old town, there is nearby street parking(2 hour limit 8-5 or 8-6 pm). I didn't have to pay for parking because I arrived at 4 pm, and checked out shortly after 10 am. The restaurant across the street called Black Cow Chophouse is great, and has a reasonable happy hour menu."

"The hotel is gorgeous with plenty of amenities. Shawn at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind and arranged a late check out for us when our flight was delayed until the evening. Shawn was always welcoming and smiling. "

" Nice place. Good breakfast. It's a little tricky to get there if you're unfamiliar with the Charlottesville mixing bowl of intersections with 64. And I'd recommend better signage in the hallways to get back to the lobby. Otherwise it's great. I'll be back!"

"We had a wonderful stay for our weekend in Charlottesville. The house is in a great location, close to the mall and to many restaurants. The house was very clean and provided us with everything we needed in order to enjoy a comfortable snowy and icey weekend. Check in and Check out were easy as well. Overall a great experience, and will be top of the list to return!"

"-The pictures online are a true representation of what the property looks like. We all loved it!-The entry way is great - spacious and coat hooks for everyone.-We were 4 couples, celebrating my husband's 65th. The family room/kitchen were so comfortable. The fireplace made it especially cozy, given how cold it was during the week of 20-26 January.-The kitchen was well equipped, although a few of the pots and pans were a bit beat up. -The dining room table was perfect for the 8 of us to take meals AND play cards.-We loved how easy it was to walk to the downtown mall, and conveniently located to all the wineries we visited.-Because of the snowmaggedon and everything shutting down, we had to leave 2 days early. We were sad to have to leave.-If there's anyway to restore the stairs to the basement apartment, with doors that lock on both floors so that they can be rented individually, that would be great. -We cannot wait to rent this place again! Thank you for restoring such a lovely home, maintaining so much of the architectural charm."
