We ended our trip traveling from the Grand Canyon to Vegas to Sedona at this wonderful home! It was cozy and relaxing and close enough to the local state parks and Sedona/Cottonwood to explore. The property hosts were available to answer questions and very helpful. Highly recommend this place for couples looking for a place to relax or families looking for a fun place to hang out while traveling!
Our family really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home! It was such a wonderful haven to come home to after a day of activities, and really elevated our trip. A lovely home to relax in and to hang out together as a family. We really enjoyed the cozy family room, as well as the pool and hot tub. Definitely recommend!
We visited for our 10th wedding anniversary and it was a lovely experience overall. Upon our arrival we found a clean, welcoming home with flowers and a card which was such a sweet and kind gesture. We greatly enjoyed the house and backyard and truly felt at home while we were there. It was lovely to star gaze in the hot tub at night and loved being able to play music on the speaker system while we relaxed by the pool.
We were between this house and a couple hotel rooms in Sedona. Staying 40 mins from Sedona turned out to be WAY more of a feature than a bug. Not only does the house have every amenity you can imagine but you are literally waking up in one of the most beautiful setting - that just pours over you. Between the tourists and the traffic in town we were surprised at how much we loved the location in Rimrock. The amenities were perfect: just as described, and the host was super attentive. The place is clean and has a calming atmosphere. There is a little breakfast/lunch place less than 10 mins away (Peach Tree Cafe) that was the best meal and service we had in all of Arizona. 10/10 strongly recommend this stay!!
This is my second time here and will be an annual occurring trip as long as Kim keeps hosting 😀 first trip was all girls and second trip was my husband and my son! We experienced the dessert and all the animals! Lizards and bees and bats and birds! Could hear the coyotes howling at night! This is the best way to experience Arizona! Makes me want to move here that’s how much I love it!
This property was absolutely amazing, both inside and outside, even better than described! This home had quite literally everything you needed, they really truly have thought of everything and it made our stay that much more enjoyable. The property was clean and extremely comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids 10-14), well stocked kitchen/bathrooms, and the outdoor space was great and provides beautiful views for relaxing in the morning or in the evening. The only drawback was the pool was chilly, like too chilly for even a dip after a hot day of hiking but in all honesty we were so busy doing things we really wouldn’t have had much time to swim. The hot tub however was the perfect way to relax in the evening, with a glass of wine while star gazing (so many stars). The location is great, very private which is what we were looking for but close enough for us to drive into Sedona which we did several times. The owner was in contact throughout the trip which was nice when/if we had questions. All in all it was a fantastic family getaway; we enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again if we ever head back this way!
From the moment we arrived, the property was a treat. We entered to music playing throughout the house and outside. There were several nice touches, and especially appreciated the bathrobes that were available.
This place was exactly what we were looking for and did not disappoint!
Fabulous, relaxing stay. Peaceful location with fabulous views. Off the beaten path but this is exactly what we were looking for and definitely worth the little extra drive to all of the areas most popular destinations.
Fabulous stay in a nice quiet area. Loved the house and its many amenities. The pool, hot tub and patio were amazing. Location, while a little more remote, was central to everything we did! Jerome, Cottonwood, Casino, Sedona, Slide Rock! Very responsive host! Highly recommend!
We had a great stay in this beautiful and comfortable home. The host provided all the accoutrements necessary for a relaxing stay and she checked on us regularly to ensure everything was good. The location is a bit of a drive from Sedona, however, well worth the trip based on the privacy you get along with the fantastic back yard, star gazing, and sunsets.
My husband and I had an amazing weekend. The property is very remote which I an exactly what we wanted. Evenings are quiet so we slept so well. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and watching the wildlife. Bring everything you need b/c there is not a grocery store close by. The stargazing at night is spectacular. Can’t wait to go back!
My wife and I could not have picked a better place to stay and could not have been happier with the property or Kim the host. The house itself is warm and inviting and makes you feel like you are home. Sitting in the hot tub at night staring at the stars in almost complete silence was amazing. We would absolutely reccommend this property to others.
Out of the way, but in a good way! Great backyard for lounging by the pool, sitting in the spa, or roasting marshmellows over the fire. The house is open, roomy, and comfortable, and the host is very responsive. Plan for a 45 minute drive to get to most things in the Sedona area. It's a ways out, but worth it for the solitude and relaxation after the buzz of Sedona.
Awesome stay. Had everything we wanted and then some. (Rock painting was an unexpected highlight)
A little out of the way and removed from Sedona, but that was a nice surprise.
Many thanks
My family of 7 adults stayed at this home & we loved everything about it. It is a beautiful home with amazing views. There was plenty of room for all of us & it is in a quiet area away from everything. It was clean & had everything we needed. It is far from the town of Sedona & a lot of the activities but we preferred it that way. We wanted to get away & relax after a busy day hiking. There were a few hiccups but they were responded to quickly. We definitely recommend this house & If we go back to the area we would definitely stay here again.
If you are looking for a private get away, this is the place. Kim is a great host. House is beautiful. Views are unreal. It's worth the one mile bumpy road on the way to the house.
Everything about this rental was perfection! We had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips, the beds were so comfortable, and the views were spectacular. I didn’t miss a single sunrise while we were there! We enjoyed hiking in nearby Sedona daily (we couldn’t believe we got to wake up to Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte views from the house every morning), swims in the pool in the evening, stargazing and scorpion hunting at night with flashlights (although much to my kids disappointment none were to be found). Breakfast or lunch at the Peachtree Cafe is a MUST, and be sure to visit Calypso’s Daughter across the way for the perfect stop and shop if you like antique’s and unique finds. We can’t wait to come back!
