"Pros: The location was perfect. Close to all the sightseeing, but away from the crowds. In walking distance to restaurants, bakery and butcher. The house stayed cool, although it was very hot outside. Parking in a garage was available, which was so wonderful as the car was not turning sizzling hot. Big bathroom, well equipped kitchen, we loved it. Cons: Everything was fine. The railroad is close to the property, but it did not bother us."

The only hitch we had was our GPS took us up the road where construction had closed it. We didnt know there was an easy access road that wasn't showing on our map. "Great parking as long as a spot is available. We had some trouble finding the hotel with the midday crowds on the mountain — called and the very helpful clerk ran outside, flagged us down and directed us to the parking lot at the end of the building, The room was fine — pretty typical for a boutique hotel, and better than expected for the location. Breakfast was also fine, and I was surprised it was included as I don’t recall selecting that option. With the fantastic location, a nice walk to both castles or the bus that takes you up to Hoschwangau Castle, I’d certainly stay here again."
