"Great hotel to start your holiday from, early breakfast if you have an early flt, helpful staff and very quiet despite being next to the runway."

"Clean hotel, great staff and good location. Shuttle bus runs every half an hour but there is a charge here - something you aren’t told when booking or when calling to enquire. There’s no EV charging points either and it is extremely noisy. We were staying at the front near the shuttle drop and you could hear every time it’s came and went. Patrons are also very noisy, we were frequently woken by people coming and going, not just a bit of noise, lots of shouting and laughing. Walls are also super thin, we could hear people next door and above us."

"Convenient location for conference at Hinxton Hall, especially when arriving by train. Not much around the hotel so if you are coming without a car, bring food/drink or be prepared to pay high prices! Room clean and comfortable, if a little tatty in areas. Plenty of towels and hot water/soap for showers. Bed and pillows comfortable. The hotel bar has extremely fierce air conditioning, bring a jacket! I had one glass of Malbec which was very nice but rather pricey. I was left undisturbed and there were no issues during my stay, I would stay again if visiting for another conference, although I did feel the price was marginally too high in relation to the quality of decor etc"

"We stayed a night here before the early next morning flight from Stansted. The hotel is amazing and We have stayed at other Novotel hotels before around the country and I must say we were NOT disappointed. Good size family rooms. Clean hotel and staff was brilliant. Parking charges are a bit steep for the night but the car park is very secure. We didn’t get to use any of the hotel facilities, however the restaurant is amazing."

"Was a good sized room with plenty of facilities. The bathroom was a bit tired and for the price, I felt it could have been a little more modern. There were a lot of spiders in the room which isn’t necessarily the hotels fault, it did make the stay less enjoyable as both my young daughters were a bit scared. The breakfast was decent and substantial, very nice restaurant with a varied evening menu (no burger though which surprised me). The location is good and was very easy to find. I recommend popping to Clare Castle, very nice visit and also if you go in to the town at Clare, the bookshop and the record shop are a treat. I would stay again here although, as I said, it’s quite expensive for the level or room."
