I recently stayed at a property in Ridgedale, MO, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. While the location itself was beautiful, the property had several serious issues that made our stay disappointing.
First and foremost, the pool was a significant problem. Upon arrival, we noticed that the pool water was cloudy and clearly unclean. Despite contacting the customer service team immediately, we were left waiting for 36 hours without a properly chlorinated, clean pool. When the maintenance team and pool technician finally arrived, they confirmed that there was no chlorine in the pool at all. To make matters worse, the customer service team initially misled us, claiming the pool was saltwater, only for the pool tech to confirm that it was not. This dishonesty added to our frustration and disappointment.
Additionally, the property itself was not in good shape. The pool table in the game room had ripped felt, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. The TV in the main living area had a damaged screen, which made watching anything a challenge. The back screen door was ripped and hanging sideways, contributing to the overall neglected state of the property.
Despite these issues, the customer service team has yet to provide any satisfactory remedy for our poor experience. We were misled about the pool and left to deal with an unclean, unusable amenity for a significant portion of our stay. The lack of responsiveness and accountability is disappointing.
