The perfect place to stay for your trip to Rhodes town. Very clean and perfectly located in the old town of Rhodes. Everything is within walking distance, but you should be able to walk on uneven pebble pavements. There are quaint alleys around, cute cafés and bakeries, as well as nice little taverns and shops. You can find beautiful spots and quiet parts, apart from the mass tourism. This might also depend on the season you travel. In September there were still plenty of people and cruise ships visiting Rhodes. We still very much enjoyed our stay in the town and in the house. There was plenty to do and see for the week we stayed there, and of course still time to relax in the nice patio. The bedrooms are air conditioned which we used to cool down the temperature in the rooms, but did not run it permanently. If you are very sensitive to noise don't forget some earplugs. I didn't need them but can imagine that someone with a light sleep might use them. There are some scooters and late homecomers passing by during the night, but apart from that the area is quiet. The second bathroom is in a little annex. We didn't use it as we were just two and could share the bathroom in the house. One comment on the transfer: we were awaited at the airport, everything was well organized. The only thing I want to "complain" about is that the driver dropped us off at night outside the city and just said “go straight in the city and then left, it is easy to find". Very few information. He should have added to turn left a second time at the old bakery. But hey, we found the address. There were some very nice people at the first corner sitting outside their shop and asked if they could be of help.
Last but not least I would like to mention the good communication with Leonidas, who during the whole booking process and stay always responded quickly and gave valuable tips. Although we had a little problem with the check in as I didn't receive the check in information in advance. Obviously some technical problems with the automatic email occured, which can happen as we all know. Everything worked out fine in the end. I would like to thank Leonidas again for his support and hospitality! If I will visit Rhodes again one day, I hope Villa Belvedere is free and I can book it...
