First of all, we were surprised to see that the house was for sale when we arrived.The house is clean and the host was gracious enough to let us check in early which we appreciated.The pier was much smaller than pictured , but still functional where you could fish or sit on. We did appreciate the 2 canoes in the garage to use, the water is calm and it was really enjoyable. The restaurant next store is convenient and very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, you do hear the music at night until 1am. The fire pit is a nice touch but be prepared to bring or buy a lighter and starter wood. This was not provided. There is wood to use but they are very big logs that don’t burn right away. We did have issues with the garage door closing one evening and discovered that the fuse had blown, which we had to reset. The owner was aware that this occurs but this wasn’t mentioned ahead of time. We did end our trip a little early, due to a gas smell coming from the kitchen stove, we did check to see if the stove was left on, but it wasn’t. We opened up the house which helped. We did report this but the host did not return our message for 2 days regarding this matter.
