"Comfortable, plenty of space, clean, excellent host. It was a relaxing environment with excellent views, but the pool and games room meant there was plenty to do. We were on a stag do so relaxing have a bbq whilst gearing up for another night out in Porto helped. Also, great for families. "

This led to a very hot room at night and a lot of mosquito bites, which significantly affected my sleep."

"When we arrived at the property, Carmen and her lovely dogs welcomed us with open arms. It's located about 30 minutes from Porto and if you seek for peace and quit it's the best place to stay. "We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. "Excellent hotel, first impression very good the reception team, due to our Platanium membership upgraded the room. They also helped in staying an extra night and keeping same room and arranging a wine tasting and lunch at the hotels winery 10 minutes away. Bar and restaurant serve great food and drinks and you can look over the Duoro river from both, and also eat and drink on the terrace. Rooms comfy and spacious - fabulous hotel to explore the Duoro - Pinhao is just 25 mins drive away. We had a great time here"

"We enjoyed this hotel. We had a lovely room with a terrace overlooking the Douro River. Dinner in the luxury dining room was excellent but expensive. Bar food was good and reasonably priced. The pool was nice. We enjoyed the town with winery visits and boat trips. The only really odd thing was that the bottom of the shower door does not come to the floor and water flooded the bathroom floor. This happened to our friends also, so it was not just our room. You learn to stand in one small spot to wash. Odd, I would say. "
