The fifth largest city in Japan, Fukuoka is the capital city of Fukuoka prefecture in Southern Japan just north of Kyushu. This particular bridge is called the Fukuhakudeai bridge that crosses the Naka river which historically connect the samurai town of Fukuoka and the merchant town of Hakata

Fukuoka prefecture food ingredients specialty is the mentaiko or salted cod roe. The strong taste and smell is unappealing for some people but if you're into something fishy then you should give it a try :)
