"Booked through expedia and had to choose the no cancellation option because it was 7pm at night for that night when I booked it. I was on an airplane diverted to Raleigh/Durham due to BWI and other Washington area airports being grounded Friday evening and was told we weren't flying out until 7am Saturday morning. There were no rental cars left for 6 people in our family so booked a hotel instead of trying to drive home. A couple hours later and still sitting on the plane, we were told BWI was open again and we would be taking off within the hour (around 9:15). I called the hotel directly asking for a cancellation and explained the situation but was told I had to go through Expedia. I lost service when taking off and contacted Expedia the next day who emailed the hotel asking if they would consider a refund and they would not. Very disappointing that in that situation they would not refund. They already showed a star rating below 8. A little bit of empathy goes a long way."

"This hotel was very clean, the room was also very clean. My son and I enjoyed ourselves and had fun shooting some pool in the common area. We will be back again when we visit Raleigh. "

"Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Our view was to the pool. Either close it for winter or maintain it. It was discussing to look at. Bathroom needs to be cleaned better. Mainly the grout in the floor. AC system was so loud and smelled of old cigarette smoke. It was so loud I had to turn it off to hear the planes go over head. No complementary breakfast. Just a beagle for $4.00. I do not recommend this place at all. "
