The rooms were laid out well. However the suits are all laid out a bit different. I had the impression I was getting a fireplace in mine based on pictures. I didn’t likely read the description well enough.
I had a lot of friends staying too. The king suite was good but didn’t actually have a “kitchen”, again, make sure to read the description.
The queen suite has a separate room with two queens which was great. Having some space and an additional sink was great. The separate vanity sink and shower was also handy.
The hotel is definitely showing its age, bathroom in general could use some love with curtain rod as and tub surface. Though water pressure was good. Shower heads are old and need replacing in the three showers I saw. Carpets worn, paint could use a refresh. Beds comfy and pillows were good. Blankets thin but good temp control in the rooms.
I saw a two queen room. It was great with a long marble-like surface which was useful. Also very spacious compared to other hotels. Windows all open.
Breakfast was varied day to day and decent for the small extra price to pay. Staff were very kind and helpful.
