"We absolutely loved our week at the Green Shutters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the pool, we found the gîte very comfortable, and Gers is definitely an undiscovered gem of a region. And to top it off Ron and Ann are wonderful hosts!"

"We loved our stay at the house and can highly recommend anyone who thinks about booking to do so. Only things to consider are that you need a car as the village is quite small and that there is only one bathroom and one toilet. Lots of love and thanks for the wonderful stay!"

"Tout est fait dans cette grande maison pour se sentir bien ! Parfaitement équipée - il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut - très bien tenue, elle est vraiment originale dans la mesure où il s'agit d'un ancien café rénové. Tout est grand : les chambres, les salles de bains (l'une particulièrement !), la salle à manger avec une table où l'on peut manger à 20 au moins (!), le salon ... nous étions une famille de 10 personnes et tout le monde a trouvé sa lpace !!! La piscine est agréable. Petit bémol :...

"The house was very pleasant and clean. There was enough space in and outside for 10 people to relax and enjoy their holiday. The host was very nice as well. She helped us out when needed and checked in regularly to see if everything was still allright."

Ce sont des personnes très chaleureuses. Le logement est très propre avec tout le nécessaire. L'emplacement est bien situé au calme. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. "We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "

"What a lovely house and fantastic grounds and pool for a great family holiday. We wanted a rural french experience and that's exactly what we got. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend!"
