"We had a great stay! I was concerned before arriving after reading some of the reviews, especially regarding the breakfast. Some said it wasn't there at all, and some left negative comments. I'm not sure about them, but for us, it worked out great. Breakfast is available Monday through Friday, but not on the weekends. There was a great variety and I was surprised at how tasty everything was. We stayed several days so it changed throughout. The scrambled eggs, omelets, and waffles were all tasty....

Top Ray Hotel Reviews

The Townsend Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The Townsend is top notch! It is my favorite hotel to stay at in the Detroit area. It is beautiful especially around the holidays. The staff is always on it and you just feel comfortable and taken care of the whole stay."

Hyatt House Auburn Hills / Detroit

10/10 Excellent

"Overall, my experience was excellent! The front desk staff, especially the lady working the morning shift, was very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. This was my first time staying at Hyatt with complimentary breakfast included, and I was very pleased with my experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again!"

avid hotel Detroit Warren by IHG

8/10 Good

"The room was a lot smaller than expected. My husband and I could not both fit through the front of the bed. The room was clean and we liked that it didn't have any carpet. The breakfast was on the smaller side. Eggs tasted like water and the potatoes were ok. They had two cereal available, some fruit and muffins, and some toast and bagels. Parking was plenty, and you have walking distance places to eat. Location is right off the highway and easy on off."

Holiday Inn Express and Suites Detroit/Sterling Heights by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Room was very clean and nice bathroom was spacious and provided useful amenities. Breakfast in the mornings was also good and parking was very easy with much space staff member members were always available if needed. I would come again."

Hyatt House Royal Oak/Birmingham

10/10 Excellent

"One look at the breakfast and we opted to walk over to First Watch instead. The hotel is great. The staff is awesome. The breakfast is lackluster. There’s also a nice-looking bar in the lobby that goes unused every evening, so for your nightcap walk over to Brown Iron Brewhouse where there are plenty of beers and ciders on tap, and where you get a discount when staying at the hotel (at the time of writing this review). We’ll be back here every time we come to town due to the location."
