"Quel dommage que ce gîte, très bien équipé au demeurant, fasse l’objet d’un tel manque d’entretien : le ménage n’a pas été fait après le départ du précédent locataire, le jacuzzi etait inutilisable car pas nettoyé, le robot de la piscine etait encrassé et il a fallu qu’on le démonte et le nettoie pour pouvoir nettoyer la piscine avant de l’utiliser, des objets dangereux étaient restés sur place alors qu’ils auraient dû être mis à la déchèterie. "Booked last minute for Le Mans 24H. New accommodation was all very clean and welcoming. Beds were comfy and the shower was brilliant. Fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were nice to have. On street parking outside was safe and plentiful. Short walk over bridge into town for lovely local bakery is well worth doing. Looking forward to staying again!"

"Gîte spacieux et agréable (confort, jardin, cour pour garer les véhicules etc...), merveilleusement situé pour randonner autour de Fresnay-sur-Sarthe (nombreux PR et GR) et dans les alpes mancelles ! En plus, il y a des commerçants locaux qui présentent d'excellents produits ! Bref, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la Sarthe !"

"A total revamp of an old Campanile room. Very smart and comfortable. Had wster heater although I think that a kettle would have been more practical. It had a shower over a high sided bath but a walk in shower would have been more accessible. Lovely large king size bed. Restaurant available for guests even on a Sunday evening. Easy parking infront of your room. No upstairs so eady access for all. No noise from upstairs too! Eady access motorway. Quiet industrial estate location. Friendly staff and welcoming. Would certainly recommend and stay again. Thankyou. "

"Another excellent stay at the hotel, the location is quite, plenty of parking available, we had a 5.5 metre van and were able to park it easily and safely. The room was a good sized and an opportunity to take the waters too. Staff friendly. Bagnoles has a number of good Restaurants but they eat early (19.00 to 19:30) booking. "

"Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower, and a small kitchenette. It's a good idea to take your own tea, coffee and milk with you. Continental breakfast was good and delivered to our room at the time we requested. A good guide book in English of what to do in the area was left in our room, but perhaps the only disadvantage of the place is that it is quite isolated and a long way from any any restaurants. Overall, a lovely place, and we'd recommended it."

"Our stay was perfect for an overnight during further travel. We had a friendly greeting with information of where to eat. The room was clean and comfortable and a more than adequate breakfast. We were lucky to have a parking space on site but there are not really enough spaces for the number of rooms. "
