庭にある建物の2階でした。Wi-Fiがブルースカイフロントに近い所しかアンテナ無いみたいです。部屋からは繋がらない。朝食は付いていたけど温かいのが無くてパンと果物飲み物位だから、朝食無くても良いかもです。スタッフは普通でした。夕食は部屋て持参した日本食にしました。バーでは地元のダンサーがフラダンス？をしていました。夕食取らなくても立って見ている人もいましたから、私も同じ様に拝見しました。日本語版の案内も、部屋にありましたから日本人も泊まるんでしょう。普通に良いホテルです。

高すぎず安すぎず全ての人向けのホテル
アイツタキ島がメインだったので、ラロトンガでの二泊はそんなにお金をかけませんでした。このホテルはファミリーも多く、全ての人向けといった感じです。ニュージーランド航空の人いわく、CAさんも宿泊するホテルだそうです。旅行会社のパンフレットにも必ずと言っていいほど、載っているホテルですね。高級感はないですが、安心して泊まれるホテルです。

すべてにおいて問題ないレベルではある。 朝食はパンとシリアルとフルーツだけ。もう少し種類があるとよい。 プールは基本的に子供専用。大人で入っている人はいなかった。 ビーチもムリビーチに比べるとやはり物足りない。

We stayed at the Edgewater as a family of 3: Mum, Dad and toddler. Overall the experience was great, the snorkeling on the beach is amazing, the gardens are beautiful, the aircon is amazing and the staff and housekeepers are all so welcoming and kind. A few points to consider, the roosters are loud in the morning and they seem to have loud entertainment almost every night. The beds are flat and hard, the floors were very sticky and dirty in our rooms (we know they are cleaned daily but maybe a deep steam clean is needed), the food at the Edgewater is average as is the spaghetti house. Other positives, great parking, simple but decent breakfast, snorkel gear to borrow as well as towels, reef shoes. Friendly dogs, plenty of seating and places to relax. A wonderful and reasonably priced spa. The location of the Edgewater is great. Overall we would stay here again but would upgrade to a better room with kitchen facilities and take ear plugs.

It is in a awesome spot good snorkeling. Open drains that smell like raw sewage around the property. The staff juat seemed like they didn't want to be there not very friendly. Big wedding and prize giving going on so guests seemed to come second. Not a place I recommend!!!!!

The Edgewater Resort is great for short stays or for families wanting affordable and convenient accomodation because the resort is large and on the beach. There are better options for couples or small groups who prefer a more quiet and romantic Island environment.

Great staffs, very polite, very respectful, very approachable, can’t complain. Guess it comes with the culture. Love the activities that are available. Learned a lot from the local staffs with the activities provided by the hotel. Coconut husking, coconut cream making, making head garlands, head bands, hats, sarong tying, dancing etc. Very fully equipped, table tennis, swimming pool, pool table and next to the beach.

The roosters crowed from 2am onwards right outside the door. Woke us up every night, certainly not a restful stay. Our party of 6 were exhausted due to lack of sleep. Overall the accommodation was pretty run down, the staff at Mals bar were not friendly at all. We were confused how to order our drinks and they were not helpful. The waiting staff were wonderful.

I thought the food and bar service was not up to standard for a 4 star resort. I travelled by myself and I found it very hard to get food service when I was sitting down and bar staff were not that friendly

Lovely friendly staff. New pool. The resort is on the beach and there is great snorkeling in the Lagoon. 2 steps into the water and you could see fish. Great restaurants at the resort and also close by. Aircon in all rooms.

Property was much older and run down than expected. Rooms definitely need a major upgrade. Breakfast was the same everyday. Would have been nice to have a bit of a change each day, even if it was different fruit. Staff were great and very friendly. Kids Club and Spa were good. Sad the slide was removed but the new pool tiles looked good. The country has so much potential but hardly any attractions. Expect a pricey stay as everything is expensive. We hired a car and it was the best thing for us. Many used the local bus or a Taxi but it wasn’t for us.

We stayed in the old blocks ,810, and 1007 , very very tired, heat pump filters - 810 was clean, 1007 was disgusting , , 1007 wasn’t as tired as 810, if you can afford pay for the superior garden room , I would if we went again, apart from that food was pretty good , drinks coke, water etc were expensive, However they were 600ml bottles, cocktails were great at happy hour , pay with cash as there is a surcharge for credit cards, , Snorkelling out the front was pretty good , we walked up a bit and then floated back down towards the resort, our child is 8 and very confident in the water , there are other resorts with less coal to navigate around for younger kids, however due to this there were heaps more fish at the Edgewater , our child liked the kids club and we found this great to get a few hours of parent time, It is very busy at breakfast, we were there at the NZ school holidays We didn’t have a dinner there. Others that we were with did and they said it was good , and they also went to the “show” and said it was good value for money We would stay again 😊 in a better room 👍

We booked a room last minute before we flew out. A little taken back at how dated they were. The grounds were fantastic and as you walked round there was a real sense of belonging. I can see ehy people come back here. Beach was great too. We found the food reasonably priced and it tasted great. The staff i couldnt fault.

I have been to the edgewater 8 years ago and the rooms were looking very tired now. We requested for a group of 10 to be together on the ground floor and to have three beds in my room as we were 3 ladies together. So what we got was 3 beds in an upstairs room and not all together. This was put right after night 2 of our 5 night trip. The furst mornjng we were woken from 2am 3am 4.30 by the rooster crowing outside our block and this continued most of the nights. After saying all this the food was excellant and the cocktails were great remember happy hour 5-6pm and their activities programme is varied

The Edgewater is a lovely family resort with great staff and facilities, and cycle scooter and car hire nearby. The bus stops at the resort and it's an easy bus trip to anywhere. We just had our third holiday here and had a great time. The room was clean and well maintained, with great views out across the lagoon.

We like that we could just hop on s bus that came right up to the reception. We asked for a ground floor room with 3 beds we got a second floor room with 2 beds but by night 3 they had that sorted. The staff did a lovely display for my friend's birthday and the activities staff are great

The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room we stayed in was outdated and had obviously not been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. The very small pool was overtaken every day by numerous unsupervised children.

Most of the staff were very lovely. Air conditioning was nice as was the fan. Room was nice and free breakfast each morning was very handy. Great location. My tv wouldnt work, i went down to let reception know and maintenence had it fixed within the hour. Cons: I think my bed had dustmites as i was itchy and got worsening, almost allergic symptoms each day. The day i left i was worried that i wouldn't be allowed to fly. Theres too many roosters on the property that crow pretty much from 2am onwards.
