Had a lovely stay at Ikurangi eco retreat. Alan and Vicky were very accommodating, providing great travel tips. The retreat is very well maintained, you feel very connected to nature. Is a great place if you want to get away and unwind.

The place needs a good makeover as it looks very rundown. There were issues with getting a gluten free breakfast. A nice place to stay if you want some space to yourself and just read a book.

Ett trevligt avbrott ifrån stranden och standardhotellen på Rarotonga! Det är definitivt charmigt att bo i tält. Alla bekvämligheter som behövs, den egna duschen och badet på baksidan av tältet var en höjdare! Kan inte riktigt förstå reklamen om frukosten, en tallrik overnight oat eller flingor med mjölk. Nej, där hade vi förväntat oss mer. Var beredda på att det blir fuktigt i tälten om det regnar. Charmigt och värt ett besök! Dock ska man vara beredd på att innersidan av Rarotonga även har otaliga tuppar och hundar som garanterat håller fest hela natten!

Our stay at Ikurangi Eco Retreat was wonderful from start to finish. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and set in such a peaceful environment. The retreat itself is beautifully maintained—the pathways are swept daily, and the gardens are kept lush and immaculate. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast each morning on our balcony—such a perfect way to start the day!

Very relaxing very clean.off the beaten track but not too far to access public transportation. Hosts very knowledgeable and helpful regarding best local sites and experiences. The pool is very refreshing. A perfect place to get away to.

We stayed in one of the bungalows. It was comfortable, quiet and private with outdoor seating to enjoy the lush tropical surroundings. The breakfasts included were fresh and tasty. Hosts Vicki and Alan were especially helpful in recommending local restaurants, snorkeling locations and things to do. The property also provides bicycles and snorkeling equipment. We really enjoyed our six days at Ikurangi.

Ikurangi is set in beautiful lush surroundings which are kept well maintained. A small retreat with no children made it very peaceful. Vicki and Allan were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Their local knowledge was very helpful.

I had the best stay at Ikurangi. I came to Rarotonga to unwind and Ikurangi was exactly what I needed. The tent was fantastic and comfortable with everything I needed, the breakfasts were amazing - such a treat- and the setting is tranquil. I slept like a baby to the sound of the sea. Vicky and Alan are fantastic hosts and I thoroughly recommend staying here!

What a piece of paradise in paradise. Quite romantically beautiful in the glamping tents. Vicki and Alan are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much drama and breakfasts are deliciously homemade and vary each day. They have push bikes for free on site but would suggest hiring a car just so you can explore all the beauty of Raratonga and get to the wine shop to enjoy a glass on the balcony of the tent and absorb the view and serenity. We loved our stay :)

Ikurangi Is such a great way to not only stay on Raro, but fully experience the local culture of the island. The resort is in a peaceful neighborhood but still close enough to hear the ocean. The pool is at the right temperature and each day we were treated to a different breakfast with locally sourced food and the portions were plenty large. Our accommodation were clean and comfortable and you never felt any of the world around you. This is a great way to experience Rarotonga.

🌺This picturesque sanctuary was just what the Dr ordered. It's away from the hustle and bustle and beautiful. The glamping experience was exceptional, just the way we remembered it from nearly a year prior. We love how we both breathed a sigh of relief and contentment, when we arrived, and we're very sad to leave. Vicki & Allen, we will definitely be back.

I was looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway and Ikurangi certainly delivered. I stayed in a luxury tent and it had everything I needed for a great stay. The facilities are well maintained and Vicki and Alan are incredibly welcoming. The daily breakfasts were wonderful. The bus was only 5 minutes walk away and the access to bicycles was also great. I will return!

Fine but overpriced

Checked in at 4pm, no one at reception but a big booklet. There’s no luxury about the tent, you can’t close it all the way up, never mind lock it. Despite the adverts it does smell a little. It was fine but completely overpriced.
