「While the house was very nice it was not functional for 6 people. One 3 person couch and 1 table that seats 4. The kitchen had 3 plates and 3 bowls and minimal silverware. No utensils except for bar-b-que. 1 towel/washcloth per person allotment per day. Therefore had to do laundry every day. VERY narrow and STEEP driveway. Neighborhood looked concerning but we had no problems with neighbors. Definitely need earplugs to sleep because of the trains. 」

「This property is very serine and peaceful. While there are several cabins on the property it is quiet, relaxing and a wonderful “escape”. Sarah was easy to contact, responsive and helpful when I had questions. Everything was ready for us when we got there, there was plenty of room and we enjoyed the weekend! I would definitely stay here again.」

「Porch chairs need replacing badly. The main floor couch, though inviting, finds one challenged to sit up. Same with game room. MBR chair is optimal. Wireless does not support streaming services well. Excellent kitchen, dining, stove, fridge, appliances. DR table with view very nice. Need to convert cleaning closet into pantry for guests supplies. Proximity to main road a little off putting. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. Bathrooms were modern and enjoyable.Down side 」

The deer on the property and on the drive in were the perfect addition to a great trip. Highly recommend this host and we will be using again. 」

「The Mountain View’s on the property are the best around. Sunsets right in front of the deck and you see a sunset almost every night. The river down below would be visible in the winter. Otherwise the view is beautiful with the woods and distant mountain ranges. There is a gravel road just less than a mile up that leads down to the river if you decide you want to hike to the river.」
