We stayed in one of the cabins bc it could accommodate our family of five. It was very helpful to have a kitchen (made breakfast in the morning) and the set up of the cabin was convenient for our family. Staff was very friendly and helpful, too!

The eco pods are cute but not as comfortable as a hotel room. Little things like no trash can in the bathroom or toilet paper holder, tissues, a shelf for your things, a sink that is big enough to fill the coffee pot they provide in the room, faucets that are loose, or even a window that doesn’t fog over between the double panes of glass, or a proper walkway to the pods that are under construction added up to small annoyances. This is awesome for a step up from camping, but falls short on standard hotel practices. The staff was friendly, and the farm is quaint. The pod itself was clean. But the lack of signage or directions on where and when the reception is open and where to park added to the frustration of the long journey around the complex looking for both where to check in and how to get back to the pods.
We were only here for a quick stay after hiking on Sólheimajökull, but the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the chalet was clean and warm. We’re contemplating a return to ride the horses.

Just GORGEOUS!!! The hot tub was a plus. This place was surreal and the cottage itself was stunning. I wish we could've stayed here longer. What a deal!
We were expecting more of a farm experience but we just got a little lodge on the farm. There wasn't really anyone around or anyone to contact about any potential farm activities. It was a nice stay but if you're looking for any type of farm activity, you might want to stay somewhere else.

We thought it’s a farm house but didn’t see any animal in the area . Price is too high
The cottage was beautiful with an open layout. Beds were comfortable, and with a fully equipped kitchen. Their WiFi didn’t work for us. Wish they include amenities like coffee and creamer. Bathroom is so small, there is no trash can, they ran out of hand soap, and the microwave is oddly located, so far up a cabinet that it’s hard to reach. Overall we still had a comfortable stay.

Location good, cottage comfortable, but sadly let down by dirty fridge and kitchen area. Reported to receptionist who was apologetic but other than making a note of the complaint didn't take any further action.

TV had no remote, they couldn't locate it when we asked the front desk either. Also bathroom light was flickering the whole time and the shower floor was hard to stand on.
Good points-
Diana who seems to do absolutely everything, is AMAZING. She is so attentive and engaging, a real asset to this place and full of knowledge.
Wifi in cottages is RAPID.
Beds are super comfortable.
Showers, although on a limited supply of hot water, are very hot!
Restaurant for evening meals-delicious!
Room for improvement-
We felt that breakfast was limited. Coffee was like Diesel LOL.
A booklet on the runnings of the cottage would have been useful, wifi is located here, water in shower works like this (and the limited supply, etc) and perhaps some incidentals, like milk, tea etc, or the option to buy them ready for our arrival would have been a useful add on.
Overall we would stay again!
Once we got to our cabin and fully unloaded and set ourselves up for the night, we used our bathroom and couldn't flush the toilet. We hiked over to report this. Forty minutes later someone showed up and said they are unable to fix it. They said we could move, but it was after 8:00 pm. We went with no toilet. We left before anyone was at the reception. We feel very short-changed. We deserve a big discount. I hope they decide to reimburse my credit card.
Upon checking in, we were told that we could only order beer or wine, since no one there is a “bartender”. We were not told anything regarding the Restaurant, however a couple that checked in after us were asked if they would be having super. When entering the cottage, the disappointment was overwhelming. The cottage had “spider webs” all throughout, the couch was extremely stained, the linens (using this term loosely) were extremely old and very dingy. Moving onto the bathroom, the toilet handle had to be held down for at least 10-15 seconds to flush, sink would not drain, mirror is the size of a small plate and we would have felt cleaner using a bucket instead of that ridiculous shower.
Everything from the reception area to rooms were extremely outdated, dingy and not clean.
We do not complain often, however for the price we paid, it was most definitely NOT worth it.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
5) sporcizia in generale
Il cottage sarebbe molto carino ma non curato
Cabin was in poor condition on the outside, could do with a clean and new paint. Bedding was worn with broken fasteners. No black out on door window. Shower area dirty with hair and grime. Definitely not worth what is charged. On a positive in a lovely quiet spot of the countryside. Has the potential to be a lovely little cabin with some tlc.
This was a wonderful place! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Our room had a queen bed, but we needed 2 twins and they quickly switched our rooms around. The property was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious and fresh! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting.
The little cottages were nice and cozy. Dinner was limited, but we had two types of soup which were just what we needed and the homemade bread was to die for. Service was very friendly. There is a shared kitchen available, we used for breakfast but there is no microwave. The view at the back of the property is amazing.
