「Just finished a great week in Palm Desert, and this property met or exceeded our expectations in almost every way. First of all, our biggest source of anxiety about the property was the second story but the front staircase was not a big deal and more importantly the back patio was wonderful in terms of providing a nice quiet and shady spot for our breakfast and coffee. 「Worst experience. A few days before our trip the host canceled us via messages. It being coachella weekend, we had to scramble and find a different property. Our reservation was never considered "cancelled" on Vrbo and was still listed as a "booked" reservation. Hence why I am able to write this review. Technically if the reservation is canceled on Vrbo, we would have been notified via email AND guests aren't prompted to write a review. I myself am a short term rental host and know the back end...

The room I paid for was for a 1 bedroom suite with dining room, kitchen, living room, bedroom, etc. The room I was given was an approximate 300 sq ft guest room. It was fine, but not what I paid for.
