Very kind and helpful staff. This hotel could really stand to be updated with new carpets and finishings. However it was clean and serviceable.

Shower was nice. Water was hot and shower head worked great. What I didn’t like: The carpet was sticky in front of the tv. Something had been spilled and it wasn’t cleaned up.

The hotel was located in a convenient location. Front desk staff were wonderful. However, the room carpet was dirty, the bedding had an unpleasant smell and housekeeping is loud. The Hotel pictures look better than the room. Also the tub was sunk in the middle so I had to position my feet so I wouldn’t slide.

Check in and out was smooth. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The rooms don't have enough sound proof and hallway noise is heard in the room as well as loud talking from adjacent rooms. Otherwise room was in good condition and location was easy to access

Staff were A1. Genuinely pleasant all around. Asked in a.m. for an extra blanket and it was in room before we finished breakfast.

Nice hotel for price. Unfortunately the pool was not open while we were there but probably a seasonal thing.

The property was fine for a night. It qas near where I wanted to go and had fairly comfortable beds. The property is a little outdated but well maintained. The rooms have sound insulation so be prepared to hear everything around you but ear plugs did help.

I liked the king bed option. We had extra room in our space instead of two large beds. It made the room feel much bigger.

Scheduled for a two night stay, and checked out after the first night and booked at another Hotel. The absolute worst mattress I have ever had in a hotel. It was concave, no back support, not padding, so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep. Sheets were over starched, stiff and scratchy. Carpet was dirty. Coffee maker in the room didn't work. The women who checked us in was very nice and friendly. The women who was there when I checked out early and nicely explained the problems, was not interested at all in what I had to say. Ask if it was possible to get a refund, she just told me I had to go through Expedia.

Convention location to downtown Raleigh. Property is clean, convenient parking, and staff are friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom clean.

If the Redroof motel made a hotel, the Wingate would be it. The showers are dated in the 80s, the room didnt look anything like the description that was shown. Spend the extra $30 and go else where.

Basic motel close to interstate, but outside of Raleigh. Very few options for dining. Nice room, with typical amenities, nothing unusual.

LAST MINUTE HOTEL.COM RESERVATION
We booked the room last minute on a trip to Helen, GA. We decided to stop and stay for the night in the area. Great service. Room was very clean. As a professional cleaner myself this is extremely important to me. Breakfast would have been good, but they need multiple waffle makers (they only have one) and we didn't want to wait in line to make so we left.
