The property was nice, the rooms clean, the staff was courteous, how ever when we arrived at 5:30 p.m. they did not have a room open for us. Check in is 4:00 p.m. We had driven up for a play in the area that started at 7:00 p.m. and needed to get ready. After waiting a half hour for a room, we were placed between a barking dog on one side and a yelling couple on the other. I immediately asked to be moved to another room, but was told there weren't any other options. I had to contact Expedia on the way to our event to get moved to another room. After our event we returned to the hotel and were given an upgraded room on the 4th floor that was quiet. I think overall the lack of proper staffing (cleaning crew/on site management) was the issue that made our stay an extremely stressful situation. I travel regularly and have never had this problem elsewhere.
