Easy access location off highway. Check in was easy and quick. Room smelled. Bathtub was peeling paint. Need to wash bathroom doors. Towels were soft. Bed was firm and springy but slept well enough. Good lighting on outside so you feel safer. Good stay enough for necessary traveling.

My worst hotel experience in my life
Front staff was horrible. It took me over 30 minutes just to check in. They wouldnt answer the window (yes its a window if you check in in the evening and not the front door). The girl just slamed the door in my face and wouldnt let me check in at the front counter. No heat working in the room when its 35 degrees outside when I first arrived. I had to spend 20 minutes playing around with the thermometer before the room slowly began to warm up enough just to sleep.

I didn't get any hand towels when I turned in my dirty hand towels. I couldn't find the desk clerk at checkout. I did like the location and how accessible shopping and restaurants was. Everything was within walking distance and convenient.

Hôtel situé près d'une grande route très empruntée. Il est assez isolé car éloigné du centre de Durham et de raleigh. Il peut s'avérer être une option pour une halte sur un long trajet. La chambre était propre et bien équipée. Par contre il y a des individus extérieurs à l'hôtel qui stationnent sur la parking le soir, et qui fument des substances.

I checked in and there was no issue until ingot to my room. I saw one roach on the walk where the tv is located and another one was in the bathroom. Totally unacceptable! I didn't realize that the rooms had no refrigerator or microwave! And the roaches just kept coming...

The one staffer on evening duty was slow, barefoot, and spoke too softly to be heard. They lock the lobby at night so that for a late check in, you have to transact your business through a hole in the glass next to the ice machine! This "no smoking" hotel was surrounded by cigarette butts EVERYWHERE as though no one ever sweeps anywhere. The room was relatively clean--although there was a small stain on one of the bed covers--but it also had a moldy smell. When I arrived, one customer was fussing about the $50 deposit that was required. It was never clear why it was required and the employee was vague about when it would be released. Never again!

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which result in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

this a case of you get what you pay for, very clean accommodations however the ice machine was out of order the entire 5 days, the trash was never removed from the room the entire stay and I had to ask for clean towels no room service cleaning whatsoever. the bed was clean the room was clean which is important.
