「Great location for Plitvice. Quiet and clean. Safe area. A couple restaurant options within walking distance. Beds were comfortable. Difficult that there was no WhatsApp to communicate ahead of time. Also I specifically booked a two bedroom suite and the landlady only let us have one of the bedrooms (claiming that you needed five people to get the second bedroom). We made do but I would seriously confirm ahead of time. That wasn’t great we were two friends who expected our own rooms which was...

The donkey was a delight too. we did have a smidge of trouble finding it, as the one key sign is visible from one direction, not the other, but a lovely spot close to the lakes and other activities such as horse riding and a bat cave」
