"This was our 10th Visit to the Milky Bay Hotel, and to our total surprise, the resort underwent a major renovation since we last stayed there, and it is absolutely beautiful!! We had a stunning room, and the staff that's become like family treated us like royalty. Well done on the superb renovation, and the Resort will remain one of our favourite places to go to!! We can't wait to go back. "
"We had a big and beautifull room with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a big enclosed shower, great for not showeing the hole bathroom and everything in it while taking a shower.
Our room was on the 3 floor so we had a nice view over the pool with palm trees.
We did not use the pool that much. It is a tiny pool with only 4 sunbeds so you have to be early to get a spot. But its only 10 min walking to the beach.

"The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly.
The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."
"I was also fooled by the old pictures, place looks run down. With a little effort could by a lot better. The ladies who clean the rooms are great but everyone else looks like theyd rather be anywhere else. I had a conjoining room (which indidnt ask for, but whatever) and could hear everything in the next room over. Which was annoying.
