Drive to Ragusa and stroll through the interesting old town called Ibla. Ragusa has the refined elegance that characterizes the late Baroque towns of the Val di Noto. The town attracts visitors with its labyrinth of narrow alleyways, where there are many churches and palaces to visit. You can also visit the town of Modica and immerse yourself in the history of chocolate production. One of Modica's fascinating sights is the Cava d'Ispica, a long gorge full of caves and archaeological sites. It is a kind of open-air museum with traces dating back thousands of years, from the Bronze Age to the late Middle Ages. The gorge cuts through the landscape over a length of 13 kilometers between Ispica and Modica, is 100 meters deep and half a kilometer wide in some places. The baroque towns of Ispica and Scicli are also worth a visit.
