"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "This place is a must if you are visiting Speyside. A most unique and charming experience. From the restaurant serving Scottish dishes, to the Quaich Bar with its outstanding selection of whiskeys, our stay here was incredible and memorable. The rooms are well appointed and clean, and staff were beyond welcoming. A perfect spot for day trips to the nearby distilleries."

"This was a nice hotel and the lady that checked us in was very pleasant, Room was great, very large, with a large bed and a sofa as well as kitchen facilities, although we could have done with a frying pan! Breakfast is quite early with last orders at 8.45am, so we missed it the first morning, and the second morning was very slow with my breakfast arriving at 9.15am, when we were seated at 8.30am and my partner had already finished his. The staff member did keep us updated and apologised, but given that there was hardly anyone else there, I'm not sure why it took so long. Hotel is in a nice, quiet location with plenty of parking. I would stay again."

"This place was absolutely wonderful. The couple that run the hotel are very kind people. I loved the fact that the hotel offers breakfast meals to order. I had an omelet with cheese and mushrooms that was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. A car hire would be helpful if you're going to stay here. There is a great golf course just walking distance from the hotel."

"The check-in process would have went smoother if I had checked my email 😅. As I booked through Expedia, I was expecting to have the instructions on my expedia inbox. So, I had to phone the host for the instructions, which she happily provided in a text. Interesting way of checking in, with a code and a lock box. Although it's nice to be greeted, this way saved a lot of time in waiting. The hotel was clean, the smell when entering the room was clean, fresh. Nice toiletries, plenty tea, coffee etc. Kettle and a small iron and ironing board in the room. Comfy bed, at least I slept well. The only downside, for which I've taken a star is that the room next door was very noisy on the day of the arrival, some ladies/ girls, laughing out loud and could hear them as they were in my room. Every time they used the toilet, I could hear the door, water flushing etc...very loudly. After a full day of travelling, I would have appreciated some peace and quiet. I haven't made the host aware about this, there is a note at the entrance to keep it down and respect the other guests, but I suppose, not everyone is considerate and educated. The hotel is in a quiet area, couldn't hear the outside noise, just from the next door. I stayed in rm 4. At the time they were not serving meals, but there are plenty places where you can eat around, one of them is 5 minutes walk and they have a shop there as well. (On the expensive side). But there are supermarkets and everything if you need anything."
