"Sehr saubere, gepflegte Unterkunft, viel Ausstattung auch für Freizeitaktivitäten (Boot, Kanu, Angel, Spiele für draußen, Dart, Brettspiele, Bücher, …), Innenausstattung super und mit viel Liebe. Schneller und einfacher Kontakt zur Vermieterin jederzeit möglich. Das Haus liegt am Ende einer kleinen Straße, man ist in der Natur und absoluten Ruhe. "I was met by the owner Passi who was waiting for me. I had booked into one of the apartments but wes told that I was staying in one of the cottages by the lake. Passi took me to the cottage which has its own wood burning sauna and stunning views looking out to Lake Orivesi. It was really peaceful and it has its own private beach and a rowing boat plus a swing which I must admit I spent quite a bit of time on there. The centre of Kitee is about 20 minutes away in a car so if like me you do not...

Romantic Forest Cottage near Lake • Sauna, Firepit & Cozy Scandinavian Design

10/10 Excellent
"The cabin is really lovely, in a beautiful setting and very quiet. This place is ideal for some peaceful time in nature. Olga is a wonderful host, considerate and answered all my questions very promptly. There is a beautiful swimming spot just 15 mins walk (or 2 min drive) from the cabin, down Mökinrannantie. There is also a beautiful public swimming spot in Kesalahti at which is a 15 minutes drive - called Sortolampi Beach. All the public swim spots have convenient changing cabins. The shops in Kitee are around 30 mins drive have everything you might need - make sure you check out the Marimekko outlet shop!"
