The property was beautiful, clean and better than the pictures! The house has an air conditioner in every room. Plenty of room for guests: kids and adults. It provides a large dinning area and living area yet space upstairs for privacy. The house is beautifully restored and has all the amenities: full kitchen, 2 full baths and 1 half bath, 3 bedrooms with storage, laundry, a gorgeous fireplace for winter and games. We taught our son to play Monopoly: the Italian version. The pool and outdoor eating area is picturesque overlooking the Tuscan hillside. Moreno was delightful, informative and helped us get settled into Tuscan life. He even took us to the grocery store and taught us how to maneuver the Italian grocery. We cooked often and returned to the store on our own with no problems. He was helpful by providing day trips, restaurants and general information but not intrusive. The house location is perfect for many sites including Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena, and beach areas. It's an easy 40 minute trip into Florence for train trips to Rome, Venice and elsewhere in Italy. Quarrata is a quaint, non-tourist town that welcomes visitors, has fun shopping, cozy restaurants, great pizza, a wonderful bakery and fantastic gelato. Already planning our next trip!!!
