Le restaurant est beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité. Tarif laundry prohibitif. Les chambres sont rudimentaires. Il n'y a aucune étagère ou autre pour poser ses affaires. De l'enduit sur le carrelage de la salle de bain. Donc des améliorations pourraient être faites assez facilement. Si on accepte la frugalité, l'hôtel est très bien situé. Plage calme et jolie. Très beau jardin. Personnel aimable et aidant.

Guesthouse familiale. Acceuil chaleureux, nourriture excellente. Je recommande cet endroit avant tout à celles et ceux qui recherchent un endroit convivial, dans environnement calme et reposant. Ma chambre était simple, mais me convenait pour les quelques jours passés sur place.

Difficile de donner un avis sur cet hostel. J’étais le seul client ! Le jeune homme sur place est très serviable et m’a bien accueilli et à été très professionnel. En revanche, je ne suis pas très difficile mais l’électricité qui se coupe en pleine nuit (1ere nuit sur place) et t donc plus de Clim. De il n’y a pas d’électricité entre 7h et 9h am. Puis de 5h à 7h pm. Un problème qui serait passager… En revanche il y’a de la wifi de bonne qualité et ventilateur et climatiseur dans le dortoir. Niveau rapport qualité/prix, le compte n’y est pas.

It had a lot of bad reviews in here but I thought it could not be so bad, but unfortunately it was. The bathroom conditions were horrible and there were many insects such as spiders in the room. The whole property seems to not have been taken care for years. Also when you get to the place the real name of the hotel is Empire which sounds a bit suspicious to have a different name from the listing here. I certainly would recommend any other place in the island.

Dear Mr Rodolfo, Thank you very much for your review. We are sorry for the inconveniences you had, however, our rooms are all being maintained very well. In relation to the existence of insects, we have informed that the main entrance door to the room must be closed at all times. We also believe that you are aware that the cheapest room you booked is located near the jungle at the back area. Expedia didnt allow us to change the name to Empire because we dont have the website with that link yet. This resort used to be called Eco Marine Perhentian Island Resort and due to improvement in our star rating with upcoming construction and development of high rated rooms, we have rebranding with the name of EMPIRE. Thank you for your review, however, again we would like to emphasise that if you want the best experience you need to book the sea view which is away from the jungle. :)

Det var smutsigt, vi hittade någons gamla strumpa under vår säng. De va inte alls vad vi hade förväntat oss, detsamma gällde två andra som bodde där. Vi alla var chockade och slutade med att vi lämnade tre dagar tidigare. Stranden var full av skräp, istället för vår havsutsikt så hade vi deras berg av säsongens soppor som utsikt. Han som jobbade där var snäll och försökte sitt bästa, men tråkigt att de va de enda stället som va öppet så vi kunde bara välja mellan tre olika maträtter.

Loved the location and the beach. Very disappointed with level of cleanliness. Some of the rooms we had (had 4 in total) had no toilet paper another had no rubbish bin in and was scattered wity rubbish on bathroom floor under the sink. Another had no towels.

August 2019 in the last minute
Nice location at the end of the beach. One of the best sites there. This part of beach is without boat traffic and with basic snorkeling possibilities. Rooms/cottages are well maintained, clean, most of them really large. Everything works (a/c, fan, hot water). Unfortunately the "garden" area is quite full of mess. Some better care would help. It doesn't look like 'luxurious resort' but it is not as bad choice as some reviews say.

No recomendable. Al llegar nos dieron una llave en mal estado que se rompió al intentar abrir la puerta. Al salir nos cobraron las fianza de 50 ringits. Y estuvimos todos los días con la habitación abierta porque no tenían llave de repuesto.

Le seul point positif est sa situation géographique. Belle plage de carte postale et à côté de la jungle treck. Nous avons été déçu de l'état général de l'hôtel : les poubelles sillonnent les allées, pas d'entretien des chambres, le petit déjeuner n'est pas qualitatif et le restaurant à éviter (cher).

Bonjour Le 2 juin 2019 nous avons réservé par votre site deux chambres , l’une pour 3 personnes et l’autre pour 2 personnes dans cet hôtel pour un montant de 654,80 euros par carte visa. Le mardi 6 août 2019 à 17 h nous sommes arrives à l’hotel Eco Marine la personne à l’acceuil nous a donné une clef pour une seule chambre ( numéro sp3 ). Elle maintenait n’avoir de réservation que pour une chambre. Nous sommes rentré dans une chambre pour 4 personnes et très sale : mauvaise odeur wc noir de saleté lavabo décroché du mur et nombreuses déjections de souris sur le sol. Nous avons des photos de tout cela. À 18 h cette personne est arrivée avec une deuxième clef pour notre deuxième chambre elle venait de retrouver notre réservation . Mais cette chambre ( num sp2 ) était aussi très sale. À 21 h 30 nous n’avons pas réussi à ouvrir la porte du couloir menant à nos chambre car elle était fermé à clef. Nous sommes allés à l’acceuil Et avons dû attendre 22 h pour entrer dans nos chambres. À 6 h 30 du matin nous avons été réveillé par des bruits sous notre lit et nous avons découvert un gros rat. Il y avait des déjections sur nos vêtements. Nous sommes allés le signaler à l’acceuil. Ils ont proposé de mettre un piège pour le rat. Ils ont dit que le prix de la chambre n’était pas cher et que c’etait normal d’avoir des chambres en mauvais état. À 7 h 30 nous avons décidé de quitter l’hotel. Par chance nous avons trouvé un nouvel hôtel où nous avons payé à nouveau 256 e.

Dear Guest, We know who are you. First of all, the management is very disappointed that you took our front office's staff handphone until he decided to resign on the same day due to the misconduct done by you. We have reported this to Expedia customer service team. As this booking is a non-refundable booking and you voluntarily left the room, do not hope for any refund from us. The first day you arrived you didnt show two reservations being done by you under two different names. How are we supposed to know about this because we gave you the key depending on the reservation detail you showed to us. Saying that the reason of leaving is because you booked for 1 double bed and 2 single beds room, then you got the room as per booking, however, you said you cannot accept the bunk bed. I have never received any report about the rat and never ever heard you mentioned about it. Are you trying to make a false review just to raise other people's attention on your review? None of our staff (s) ever mentioned that it is ok to have rooms in bad condition. You humiliated our resort by saying we should not sell the room and it was under construction. For your information, our authority had received this report however because you didnt cause any chaos they did not take any action towards you. You left and ran away to Flora Bay resort right? In the evening you came to send the phone. We have blacklisted your name and family members name involved in the trip together with the passport detail from entering our resort ever again. All actions you have done at the front office had evidence and are being recorded in our cctv. You should compensate for the loss you had done to our resort, however, we fined you by not allowing you to come anymore. We also have informed to other boat operators about this. Thank you.

Das positive war definitiv die Aussicht, super Strand und tolles, sauberes Meer. Das Personal, vorallem die Empfangsdame war anfangs freundlich, doch sobald man Hilfe braucht wird Sie unfreundlich und wirkt gestesst. Doch am Handy spielen geht immer. Da unser Rücktransfer bereits um 08:00 ging und die Reception nicht besetzt war wurde uns das Depot nicht zurückbezahlt. Sind immerhin 12.50.- Auch auf Antworten per Mail wartet man vergeblich.

Thank you for praising about our location and we are in the process to answer your email within 3-5 working days in order to be able to respond to your request because refund is not under the management of reservation department. The staff always be on phone to cater customers who are coming from many ways to get accurate direction to the resort. Since you have posted a bad review due to not getting the refund, we actually have been informed by the manager that no refund will be processed since you did not follow the procedure to come to the reception and show the receipt we issued in order to get the refund. We also have no rights to send the money directly to your personal account and this is going to be a fraud action claimed by the company if found to be done. All in all, if you want the refund,you can come back and show us the receipt and we will return it to you. Anytime you can come back as we have the record with us. Either this year or next season or upcoming years. Have a nice day ahead

ok> l'emplacement sur la plage idyllique. nok> personnel aimable et serviable mais insuffisant pour assurer un service digne de ce lieu. un petit déjeuner, après avoir commandé il faut attendre entre 20 et 40 minutes. le service de chambre ne se fait qu' à la demande, sinon votre chambre ressemblera à une poubelle. De plus notre chambre était à l'écart au milieu des déchets, du bruit du générateur électrique et de tous les insectes de la jungle. En bref aller juste à côté pour le même prix avec un service à la hauteur.

This property is in a prime location on a quiet beach on Besar Island. The staff are friendly. I stayed in a dorm which is very basic. Has AC and fan, towel was provided. The shower and toilets are outdoors so there will be bugs, naturally. There are frogs in the toilet stalls so be aware if you are afraid of frogs. No hot water but not really needed in that weather. It was very peaceful there as there weren’t too many guests. It’s the lowest rate I could find, which provided the basics needed during my stay at Perhentian Island.

La posizione è senz’altro la migliore ed è anche su una delle spiagge più bella dell’isola. Il resort consiste in un insieme di piccoli cottage immersi nel verde della giungla e da cui si può godere la meravigliosa vista del mare. Purtroppo, la struttura è estremamente trascurata, sia esternamente sia internamente. Sebbene avessi prenotato quello che dovrebbe essere considerata una camera deluxe, il mobilio era molto scadente. Molti erano mobili improvvisati e malamente riparati. Il pavimento era ricoperto da uno strato di linoleum che doveva similare la presenza del parquet. Il bagno spazioso, ma anche in quel caso ogni accessorio lasciava a desiderare. È presente un ristorante dove poter fare colazione. Il cibo è buono e genuino. Direi che è un po’ come mangiare nella cucina di una vecchia signora, attenta a darti quel poco che nel miglior modo possibile. Comunque sia, il personale è estremamente gentile ancorché non tutti parlino inglese.

ORRIBILE!!!! Da evitare!!!
Il resort (se così si può definire) è vecchio e fatiscente. Non esiste nessun tipo di cura e manutenzione delle camere e dell’ambiente intorno. Le foto mostrate su expedia e sul loro sito non corrispondono alla realtà. Avevamo prenotato una camera superior con bagno privato al costo di ben € 80 a notte ma la qualità e il servizio offerto è stato agghiacciante! La camera si è rivelata una topaia. Lenzuola e asciugamani sporchi. Il bagno è orribile (infatti non viene mostrato nelle loro foto ufficiali). I sanitari sono usurati, molto fatiscenti e sporchi. Le pareti del bagno hanno dei fori vicino al soffitto dai quali entrano insetti e lucertole. Abbiamo dovuto discutere con lo staff per ottenere un’altra camera di qualità superiore, visto anche il prezzo pagato, e siamo riuscite a soggiornare in un’altra stanza apparentemente più recente, ma il livello di pulizia e manutenzione era identico all’altra stanza. Il bagno si allagava dopo la doccia ed era pieno di insetti e formiche ovunque. Insomma, non consiglierei questo resort a nessuno poiché non ha nessuna nota positiva!

Dear Guest, First of all thank you for giving us chance to accomodate your stay. We have done our best to help you feel more comfortable by changing your room. We cannot avoid the existence of ants and other insects since the effort we have done for our customers is by providing them the ridsect to kill those insects. About the shower and maintenance of the resort, it will be carried out during off season since we have high traffic of people back to back during this season. We do not do any maintenance work which cause the room to be blocked during open season because we do not want to disappoint other customers who want to stay here. We apologise for the inconvenience. We hope to be given second chance for you to stay at our hostel in the future. Have a greater journey ahead.

Aucun confort, la clim fonctionne uniquement entre 19h et 7h..... la propreté est à revoir. Dommage d être sur une si belle île et d avoir réservé dans cet hotel

Dear Hizia, Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We highly apologise for the inconvenience you had while staying at our hostel. Usually when there is issue with cleanliness, our guests will notify our housekeeping staff and he will immediately come to clean the room. In case of dirty room due to sand from the beach, we cannot avoid that if it happens after you have stayed in the room since we are located on the sandy beach. Again, if you notify the staff he has been trained to clean the room for the conveniency of the guest. Do give us the next chance to accomodate you in the future. Have a great journey ahead

Peaceful and by the sea
My friend and I spent 5 days exploring Perehetian Island. The Eco Marine is a nice accommodation our room had the private bathroom, comfortable beds, hot water it was clean and just 10 steps for the beach. The place is amazing and the accommodation is okay. The staff is really really really nice and ready to help you in everything.The price is proportionate to the service offered. I would recommend it for a comfortable stay without any doubts. Just be ready to step out of your comfort zone and enjoy the adventure!

Nette, einfache Hütten direkt am Strand
Aufgrund der sehr schlechten Bewertungen, hatten wir etwas anderes erwartet und waren daher positiv überrascht. Einfache Ausstattung; bequeme, überwiegend saubere Betten; Klimaanlage; eigenes Badezimmer; lediglich der Boden der Hütte war beschädigt und löste sich ab. Ansonsten können wir uns über die Sauberkeit nicht beschweren. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder wirkten jedoch ungepflegt und definitiv nicht empfehlenswert. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Nur auf bestelltes Essen muss man lange warten. Direkt am Strand, mit hoteleigenen Liegen, lässt sich die paradiesische Insel bestens genießen!

.friendly staff ..beautiful view and private beach. My opinion u have to upgrade d maintenance because u have a very strategic location. Hope can make the changes because u can attract more customer

Dommage !
Tout pourrait être bien mais c'est à l'abandon. Pas d'entretien. Le personnel sympathique n arrive pas à combler là pauvreté du lieu. Nous avions réservé une seule nuit et nous avons trouvé à côté pour la suite du séjour. Heureusement !

Dommage
Bien placé, au bord de la plage. Des bungalows de tailles confortables et après c’est le desastre... Un dépotoir devant la chambre, un balcon en beton avec une chaise immonde pour s’asseoir et une couette sans housse. Bref à fuir !!!

The surrounding area was a total mess. The room is ok. The staffs are nice. Cant complain much as it is the cheapest place in the area.
