Location! Location! Location! This cozy cottage with a small, well equipped kitchen is truly located on the best spot in Costa Rica. Yes, that's a bold statement, but it's true! You're in the jungle, on the beach, on a top 25 rated beach in the world!

There is well-manicured yard, sloths and other wildlife, and sea breezes constantly refresh the air.

There are 2 single beds. We can make 2 of the single beds into 1 king bed. There is also a futon sofa for 2 people to sleep, for a total of 4 people.

We have 50 mps high speed fiber optic internet available for those who need to connect while disconnecting!

Paradise!! This beach front studio is perfectly located on the silky sand of the Punta Uva Arrecife Beach. Literally beach front, nothing is between you and the warm, gorgeous Caribbean.

This studio is perfect for a romantic getaway or a fun family adventure. It is the final property on the end of the beach of Arrecife, which makes the final 100 yards of this top-rated beach, practically private in the mornings and evenings. Epic!

You can hear and see the Caribbean Sea from your bed.
It is a cool and quiet place, surrounded by vegetation and animals in their natural state.
The front porch faces the ocean and is a covered and relaxing space to sit and listen to the sea and enjoy the blue shades of the Caribbean.

Perfect bungalow steps from the beach
This was a perfect spot for my wife and I to explore the Puerto Viejo / Manzanillo area. The home had everything we needed - stocked kitchen, AC and fan, nice water pressure, comfortable bed and an patio. It is steps from the beach - can't beat the location. Property management accommodated a last minute date change due to my booking error. We loved meeting Senor Elivio (onsite caretaker). He helped us see a sloth on the property (we would never have seen ourselves) closer than you would see on any sloth tour. We fully recommend staying here.

Paradise found
Yes, it's true, but selfishly, I hate to let this secret out , as my husband and I would love to keep this place all to ourselves, but that would be shortchanging you and the wonderful, family members who met us at check in. Kind, wonderful hosts who helped us wherever ewe had a question and showed us scarlet macaws and sloths and morpho butterflies, blue tanagers, woodpeckers, humming birds, red colored birds , and much more. The house, itself is set up nicely , inside and out. A short verdant path led to a fabulous beach , shaded by many trees while sand and water is sunny but sand does not get Hot. Many restaurants to eat at very close by, all sorts, and very good. Breakfasts usually made there with a good frig and kitchen. We liked the yard and outdoor table and chairs. Loved it all. Can’t wait to rebook as soon as possible. Place has a great fan and cooling a/c when needed. Nice ocean breezes kept us comfortable.

Absolutely Wonderful
My husband and I spent five magical days at this cottage. It is absolutely perfect. It looks even cuter than in the listing. The location on the beach is amazing. My husband does not walk well but it was just a few steps to the beach. We could bring the plastic chairs to the beach easily and enjoy the breeze and the surf. Every day from the yard at twilight we could see monkeys commuting to their night time sleeping location… monkey after monkey would pass through; it was wonderful! We saw spider monkeys and howler monkeys. We saw monkeys carrying infant monkeys. We saw monkeys jumping from tree to tree and swinging on vines. We caught a glimpse of a sloth climbing a tree just outside the yard… just over the fence toward the beach. Watching it climb to its perch in the tree was an experience we will never forget. The cottage itself is gorgeous, well decorated, comfortable and extremely clean. The kitchen was well equipped. My husband has asked that I put into the review that as we are aging, and our vision is getting worse, we could have benefitted from better lighting in the kitchen.., but that’s the only tiny thing we have to suggest. Also there is a water purifier / cooler/dispenser. The water from the faucet is potable, but we enjoyed quick access to cold water. The property manager was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. This was a much needed rest and it was perfect. My only regret is that we only booked five days.

Great property if you are looking for something relaxing on the beach. We found it clean and functional. Caretaker right next door and lovely view. We would stay here again.

Tiny perfect beach house
This simple, tiny perfect, beautifully situated, well equipped spot lacked only a good frying pan. Sloths, monkeys and iguanas were spotted in the yard. Evelio, was the best, simpatico property manager you could ask for. Not a cheap place, but that is Costa Rica for you. Maya, as the main contact was patient, acceptionally helpful and accommodating.

As others reviewed, location is gold. Punta Uva is best beach in this area and unit has direct access to best part of the beach. Water was perfect for swimming and snorkel. We found best coral and snorkel in this beach not Manzillo. Unit super comfortable and convenient. Loads of dining option down in Puerto Viejo.

Six out of five star location!
You cannot beat the location of this property. 15 steps out the door and you are on one of the best beaches near Puerto Viejo. I cannot say enough of the location. We walked to great snorkeling and swam whenever we wanted. The parking was secure and the gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. A word of caution, if you haven’t camped before this may not be the best fit for you. There are little lizards in the shower (which was warm and had great pressure!) and there are ants in the kitchen. Nothing that bothered us, but if that’s not your thing better to look elsewhere. For us, the location was worth whatever minor flaws this rental had. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
