The house is located in a lovely pine wood forest that has easy access by motorway to Cadiz, the Atlantic beaches, shopping, and the surrounding country side.
The people we interacted with were friendly and nice.
Please be aware that this is a historical home that has not been renovated . The house has a toilet ventilation problem that causes the gas to vent inside the house. Sometime there were toilet smells in the bedroom and living room and sometimes not. The staff we contacted was helpful in sealing up two vents when we called it to their attention, it only partially helped. We kept the doors and windows opened. The windows all have mosquito screens.
The old washing machine that is available for guest use, is also used to wash horse blankets and worker clothing, so it is not very clean.
If you are a clean freak, this house is not for you.
There is also the opportunity to order local home cooked meals and wine to the house which was a very nice option to have when we arrived. The food and wine were nice.
In summary, this is a nice historical home in lovely natural surroundings that need some renovation, to at least the sewage ventilation system.
