Ventosa means WINDY in Spanish

Mornings are pleasant and you can enjoy the balcony, otherwise the wind is fierce in the afternoon and evenings. That said, you may be able to wind surf and/or watch a wind surfer from the condo.

Another Glorious Experience

My stay at this warm, scenic, and restful condo was my second time within a month. Needless to say, I enjoyed the amenities of the condo and breathtaking views of the sea. It is conveniently located close to town too. I wish that I could have stayed longer. You will not regret your time spent there.

A Memorable Stay

Our stay at this apartment was wonderful. The decor of the apartment added to the splendid view of the sea. The apartment has all the amenities you need for a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the location of Playa Ventosa because it is close to the center of Cabarete. This is our second stay at Playa Ventosa and we plan to stay again at this nice apartment very soon. We can’t wait to return.

awesome stay

We had a wonderful time at Playa Ventosa. It's truly the perfect place to stay: quiet and secure but close to everything in town (including the grocery store, bars, restaurants and activities). We could not ask for a better winter break vacation!

Love this place !

This is my 2nd time staying at this apartment and not the last one. The apartment itself is very stylish and comfortable, great view, great amenities. It’s great it’s a gated community so it’s very secure. Walking distance to supermarket, Cabarete and windsurfing rental. It’s great place to relax and even do a little work if you need to.

Awesome location

I have been to the DR about 20 times and once owned a condo there. This place is large, convenient to town and has an awesome oceanfront view. I spent most of my days at Playa Encuentro (surfing beach) but enjoyed this place when I needed down time to relax. Also had the pizza at Onno's every night. I think they make the best pizza I have ever had! About to book the condo again. Thanks

Wonderful

Loved it! The condo was lovely and we would definitely stay again! Easy walking distance to Janets the grocery store. Convenient to all the restaurants and we had no problem walking the beach to all the activities. Would definitely return again loved the area and the condo!

Nice Oceanfront Penthouse Condo in the heart of Cabarete!

Very nicely appointed Penthouse Condo, large balcony overlooking the ocean, the facility has very nicely maintained grounds, wonderful oceanfront infinity pool, good security, well located and very close to many great restaurants and things to do. Beautiful sunrise views! We would definitely stay here again. Owner were very helpful and made the process quite easy.

Great place but needs to be maintained better

Ivy did a really great job decorating the place. The view is stunning and the place was perfect for us. There are a few things we did not like. We rented a place with a dishwasher, but it did not clean dishes properly. The dryer made annoying noises, we thought it is shredding our clothes. No reclining chairs with pillows on the balcony, the porch bed is not very comfortable. The sliding doors to the balcony were very hard to open, they were fixed the day we left. We stayed a week at the place.

Perfectly Paradise

Our stay at Playa Ventosa was absolute paradise. The condo had everything we could have ever needed. It was well kept, clean, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast on the patio each morning was amazing. The pool was gorgeous! Everything was beautifully landscaped and maintained. We took short walks in each direction on the beach during the day. In the evenings, we walked down the beach to the beach restaurants and ate at several amazing places right on the beach. Barefoot in the sand at dinner each night...perfection! After dinner, we would walk to the street and grab a cheap taxi back to the condo. The wi-fi connection was excellent and allowed me to stay in touch with everyone back at home without any issue or roaming charges from my cell provider. The security at the condo was incredibly friendly and pleasant. They were willing to help with anything you need at all! Ivy was an absolute pleasure to work with and took care of everything we could possibly have needed, as well as checked in to make sure we were doing well. What a perfect escape from busy life. I can't wait to return!

Beuatiful oceanfront spacious condo!

It is a beautiful condo with a huge balcony where you can rest on the bed or have dinner with an ocean front view. It is 4 minutes walking distance from the Janet’s grocery store and 10 minutes from the Vela windsurf center where we went every day. After the Janet’s store you can walk on the beach to the bars and restaurants. From the condo you can’t walk on the beach beacuse you have to climb rocks and different hotels’ private property. Only negative side is that the map is not showing the right location: it is East from the Velero resort and not West as the map shows. Still, it is highly recommended and we will for sure be back! Peaceful. Beautiful. Relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered!

A beautifully appointed condo on the quiet east end of Cabarette (across from Ocean Casino & police station) was just what the doctor ordered. Peaceful. Beautiful. Relaxing. Luxuriousness right on the ocean. Small 3-building complex with empty lots/houses on each side allowed for privacy and serenity the 5 days we stayed. Also knowing we had 24/7 on-site protection and communication with the owner was a HUGE plus for us. Heavenly dreams were made in the King size master bed while the relentless rolling waves that crashed onto shore lulled us into oblivion. We cannot wait to return!

Paradise Found

What an amazing escape! From out initial conversations with Ivy to inquire about booking, through checking out we had such a positive experience with Playa Ventosa. The villa is gorgeous, beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed including a very comfortable bed. We couldn't have been in a better location, directly on the beach with only a 5 min walk to Janet's market and 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants in Cabarete. We felt very safe our entire trip with friendly security at the gated villa, and walking to Cabarete during day and night. This is our third trip to the DR and we will definitely be back to this rental!

Great location & Beautiful condo

This condo is perfect - it is decorated beautifully and the views are stunning. The complex has a great pool and direct beach access! We walked right down the beach to get to all the bars and restaurants which was very convenient. Ivy was very to work with and made sure everything was ready for our arrival. I would highly suggest renting this condo if visiting Cabarete!

This unit in Cabrete is perfect for those who want to be close to Cabrete but not right in the middle of town. Its a short walk to the main part of Cabrete (or moto taxi ride) but feels removed and the stretch of beach is quiet and feels very private. The security and maintenance teams are everpresent but friendly and not overly intrusive. The proximity to a major grocery store and ATM was a huge bonus as well. The unit itself is very well appointed and beautiful. Our only complaint was the lack of air conditioning in the living and kitchen areas but the bedrooms each had their own air conditioning. I'd stay here again and highly recommend it.

Gorgeous ocean-front condo

The condo is beautiful - on the 3rd floor with high ceilings and very spacious. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out over the water. The waves are great for body surfing, and smoother water is available just around the corner on Kite Beach. The pool is very pretty. The unit was very comfortable and we would stay there again. The A/C in the bedrooms was great at night, and the breeze throughout the condo when the A/C wasn't on was great. The master bedroom was spacious and the two beds in the second bedroom worked really well for our sons.
