The staff were amazing and really helped make our stay okay. However, the hotel needs maintenance. We booked three rooms, and one of the room doors did not close at all. The glass door was missing, and the bathroom fan did not work or made a horrible noise. There was no small fridge in the room, which made it very difficult to keep food or drinks. There are no kiosks or supermarkets nearby, so if you want a drink, you are forced to buy it at the reception area.
The pool maintenance was poor. The presence of bugs is understandable since the hotel is in the middle of the jungle, but the pool still needs better care. There are very few food options. You only have one choice recommended by the hotel via WhatsApp, or two app options using PedidosYa.
On the positive side, the breakfast was really nice, and once again, the staff were excellent and very helpful-especially Ricardo, the driver, who helped and guided us every day on what to do and how to do it.
