The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable—if you can, choose a ground floor room for an expansive patio and stunning bay views! I loved that AWOL is about a 20-25 minute walk to the downtown area—it gave the hotel a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, especially in the evenings beneath the stars. Being next to the National Seashore is a huge plus, and the free bikes provided by AWOL are perfect for exploring the surroundings. Thank you to the entire AWOL team for an incredible stay and an experience I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to return! "

"What a hidden gem! Literally 1-1/2 blocks to the center of town with the shopping, bars, restaurants and a small beach! You can even walk to the harbor and jump on a boat to go whale watching. The hotel itself is charming with a courtyard, hot tub and a little bar and restaurant.(open Wednesday- Sunday but breakfast which was Amazing is served daily on the patio. So quaint, with such a welcoming staff. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in P-Town! "
