Had a great time , the owner Pete keeps this place in top condition , very chilled , plenty of places to relax and very close to the beach , no air con , just a fan but adequate I Was here for the cricket and found it a nice retreat and met some lovely people at Villa Marie , reccomended

Good location close to the beach and bus stop. Supermarket nearby but not many restaurants and bars Everywhere was very clean. Big room and well equipped kitchen shared by guests

Nice villa accessible by bus

Overall I would definitely recommend this villa! The upsides were that it was a short stroll away from a very pretty walk on the beach, a grocery store was also relatively accesible by walking, the room was beautiful and had a canopy for the mosquitos, the kitchen was big, the owner was nice, and the rate was fair. The downsides of it were that you need to take a bus to go almost anywhere, which can be an added expensive and make you feel more remote. The room also had almost no airflow, so it got stuffy in there quickly, and mosquitos were definitely a concern. You had to pay extra for air conditioning (which I wasn't willing to do.) Be prepared for roosters that crow at all hours. The room itself does not have a view, but there is a part of the villa that does.

Barbados Guest House

The Villa Marie is conveniently located a short walk from the main road where public transportation is available and a nice access to the beach. The property is in a neighborhood setting and has a lovely lawn and trees and is very secure and maintained well. The kitchen is well equipped and has refrigerator space for guests who stay there. The rooms are spotless and nicely decorated. The on-site owner/manager is extremely helpful in arranging transportation and suggesting places to visit, eat, etc. The property is also within walking distance of a grocery store. We were very pleased with this guest house and highly recommend it.

Great location!

Wow! I liked this place alot, its private, safe and u have your own private bathroom, spacious room, well equipped kitchen and very nice and helpful host Pete. The beach is great and clean in Fitts village, very private and safe. I would recommend it !

Brilliant stay in the beautiful Barbados

What an incredible holiday in a brilliant guesthouse! Best points: - Amazing location on the west coast <5mins walk to a stunning beach where you can snorkel with the turtles - Excellent host Peter - could not be more helpful with advice on what to do and where to go! - Mango tree cheeky monkeys - Friends you will make with other like minded holiday makers(no frills/not all inclusive type) THANK YOU PETER AGAIN FOR A GREAT STAY!!
