bit disappointed
We booked a superior double room with sea view and were disappointed that the room was on the ground floor. The view was to the front but the sea view was partially blocked by the garden wall at the front of the property. The room itself was definitely not of superior quality. Very poorly appointed for a superior and there were a couple of disappointing elements such as window ledges extremely dusty, bathroom door did not shut properly and a tiny tv not much bigger than laptop screen. Girl on reception was very nice and when I expressed my disappointment in room she advised that we should have booked a king room and requested first floor. We have stayed at the Parkstone before and had a great room on first floor with excellent seaviews. The food and service at the Parkstone when we stayed before was very good but due to Covid 19 restrictions there was no evening food available but we were advised we could bring in it order takeaway and they would supply plates and cutlery. Breakfast was prepackaged continental which was absolutely fine.

Very convenient for prestwick airport. Loved opening curtains in the morning to a fabulous beach and ocean view. Good breakfast. And the staff were all just lovely.

There was neither a fridge nor safe in the room.There was only one key between two guests.provision was not made for snacks or sandwiches as advertised. We had do go without as it was a la carte or nothing. There is no disabled access or lift and the lighting was very poor everywhere The restaurant was not ‘panoramic” as described. We had to give up our seafront view room as it was a tiny room with only one chair between us. My car has been damaged by a large pothole at the car park entrance. This hotel has nothing to recommend it!!!

Excellent location with off street parking. I'm glad I booked a sea view room as the view was fantastic. Easy to reach the local high street and the promenade. Staff were friendly and efficient. Evening meal was very good and served promptly. Room a little tired but had plenty of sockets, a comfy bed and good shower. Would stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Room bright, clean, tea & coffee facilities, TV. Arrived late at night therefore did not have time to utilise the bar/restaurant facilities which was a pity as they looked welcoming. Beautiful sea view...always a winner in my books!

Wonderful position with a garden right on the seafront and lovely seaviews from the bedrooms. Super friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Great food.

Excellent value for money
Good, clean hotel. A little tired and could perhaps do with a refurb, but overall was very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and approachable. Good location - only couple of minutes walk from sea front. Good wife, good car-park.

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling on business up in Scotland room was very clean and spacious bathroom again very clean and spacious . The shower is over the bath and very powerful however because it is a shower in a bath the screen is not adequate to stop water from splashing onto the floor. I also had an evening meal and breakfast all meals were freshly prepared and were tasty. I would definitely stay there again

A quick overnight stop.
Arriving into Prestwick on a late flight this hotel is convenient as just a short taxi ride from airport. Welcoming young man at reception, check in was promptly carried out, he informed us that there was a 60th birthday party going on but shouldn't be a problem with noise. He advised us there was no lift (but for anyone with mobility problems there are bedrooms on the ground floor) and as we were on the second floor directed us to the stairs. Our room was a standard double room and not very big but as it was only an overnight stop not really a problem for us. First impression was that it seemed clean as was bedding and towels. Comfortable bed. Small wardrobe, chest of drawers (hairdryer in drawer but no nozzle). There was a small table with a mirror over also a long mirror on back of door. The table had kettle, tea/coffee making facilities, biscuits, also a small bottle of water. Bathroom with modern fittings, complimentary toiletries, on closer inspection there were some marks on tiles (which had been missed) which came off with moistened tissue. Breakfast was included in room rate and consisted of cooked breakfast (choice of bacon, sausage, egg - fried, scrambled or poached, tomato, black pudding, potato scone). Help yourself to juices, cereals, bread for toasting, butter, jams. Tea and coffee on request. All staff were very pleasant and friendly.

room was absolutely baltic-hd to wear my fleece!
room 21 - cracked window which wouldn't close. above reception area which housed drunken wedding guests awaiting taxis till l 30am . broken glasses within this area still not cl,eared by 11am next day. room was extremely cold-radiator took hours to heat up.shower too cold to use.dinner very nice and hot-extremely welcome under the circumstances! breakfast good though surprised at lack of tomato juice and mushrooms.
