Amazing location and hotel to stay at. Breakfast amazing

Rough start , I was given a twin room when I arrive instead of double room . I was put to an extension building outside the hotel . Next day I spoke to the Asian lady ( general manager) the most unhelpful manager I’ve meet . Never listen to me and she needed a customer service training - smile atleast and listen . Nice hotel but manager is a let down .

As I arrived at this hotel, my heart sank. I have stayed in NH hotels before, never one like this! The front entrance is dark and foreboding, as you enter the cracked glass in the revolving door, does not help with the first impression. I was assigned a room that was a throwback to another time, the room was dark and miserable, with a tiny bathroom, which had clearly remained untouched for many years. The corridor carpets are old and stained, with grey paintwork failing in any recent attempt to "freshen" up the place. I was then assigned a superior room, which was better, still not good. The shower area had visible mould, which is easily treated with proprietary cleaners and they had somehow managed to stick two lights to the bathroom mirror with double sided tape! One light had started to drop down and there was also a razor plug that was a potential health risk, in my view. This stay was really disappointing and i cannot give any form of recommendation, other than NH do a full refurbishment of the property. I am not sure how regularly star ratings are reviewed, this hotel is definitely not 4 star though.
