Great location, quiet, with easy to access all areas of Praiano and the Path of Gods. A couple great restaurants and grocery store nearby which was super for stocking up for our deck snack and wine, as the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was extensive and their choice of fresh warm pastries divine. Rooms very clean, pretty, and well maintained, with all the necessities. Best amenity was sitting in the bar, which had a spectacular view, and sipping a limoncello spritzer, as the sun went down and sparkling lights on the hillside appeared. Helpful, lovely front desk staff. Highly recommend.

The Holiday Hotel is an amazing hotel. It's location is perfect and the view of the Tyrrhenian Sea is nothing short of amazing. The management team conisting of Mariana, Omar and Antonio are top notch, and so are the rest of the staff. We stayed for 5 nights and they met all of your needs. They are wonderful people. I would definately recomend this hotel for a stay on the Amalfi Coast. Praiano is a gem. If you book a stay here, you will not regret it.

Average given the smell and the lack of amenities
This hotel was nice in that staff was friendly, good water view, it was clean and breakfast was good but given the mildew smell and how outdated it is definitely not worth 450 CAD dollars per night..

We had a great 2 night stay during our honeymoon when visiting Praiano. Such a beautiful location with an unbelievable view. Room was clean. Excellent service from everyone at the front desk. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful with local knowledge and advice. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would definitely book there again and recommend to others! Showers were dirty and my ac didn’t work . Didn’t get fix while I was there only gave me a fan . My shower was broken but did fix that the second day .

You Won’t Regret Staying Here
Overall This is a family owned hotel that has been in business for 40+ years with beautiful balcony views, great breakfast, and exceptional service. We would go back! Service The service we received here was 2nd to none. The check-in process was easy. We were greeted by the family at the check-in desk. They speak English well. Their son gave us a map of the city, showed us the relevant bus stops / how to get around in Praiano. He even marked the map for us so we didn’t forget. He pointed out the bus schedule, and he even helped us book boat tours. The company they work with for the boat tour (Plaghia Charter) has an arrangement with the hotel where they will pick you and drop you off on the day of the tour. This was a lifesaver since I was traveling with my mom and the stairs were a bit too hard for her. Rooms The room are spacious, and the beds are comfortable enough. Make sure you get one with a balcony view. The views from the hotel are INSANE. It was nice being able to sit and take it all in. The rooms are cleaned each day. Don’t leave food out. The cleaners turn off the AC if you are not there. The room got hot and the smell of pizza attracted ants to a pizza box we accidentally left out (our fault not theirs). Breakfast This was a game changer. It is hard to find breakfast spots in the city. They offered a full spread buffet. Fresh croissants, pastries, waffles, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, meat, juice, granola, and more. It was delicious.

A wonderful family run hotel Praiano, Amalfi Coast
We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the wonderful family owned hotel. Marianna, Karim and Omar welcomed us. They were polite and helpful in every way - suggesting places to explore, making restaurant reservations and treating us as friends. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, salad, cheese and meats, house made pastries and cakes and more. they even supplied a selection of gluten free breads and pastries for me. Renato greeted us happily each morning to make sure our coffee was perfect and the food well presented. The house maids serviced the room each day which we appreciated. Thank you Hotel Holiday for our memorable stay in Praiano. We highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful, comfortable stay in Praiano, Amalfi Coast Italy. Kerrie and Rob, Australia

Love This Family Run Hotel
This is a very nice family-run hotel next to the local bus stop. The views from the hotel are amazing and our room was very comfortable with a great sea view. What a breakfast spread and the coffee was fantastic while eating outside overlooking the sea. FYI, our transportation from Sorrento was by Sita bus, get off at stop 7 and then catch the local mobility bus up to the hotel which stops right next to the hotel. You can use the mobility bus to get up and down to the Sita bus or walk the steps and street. Ask the family questions and they can help you. They can set up tours to Capri and other places for you. The family is very, very friend.

Ankom hen på aftenen og kunne parkere på hotellets parkering plads (stor ting på disse kanter!). Fint værelse, med balkon og den skønneste udsigt. God service og døgnbemanding. Da hotellet ligger væk fra hovedvejen var der en skøn ro. Fantastisk morgenbuffet, med alt hvad hjertet begærer - også groft brød og skriveskåret frisk frugt. Man kunne sidde ude og nyde maden. Ved ankomst fik vi vin pga Silver medlemskab. Ekstra hovedpuder og varme tæpper. Eneste minus var, at sengen var hård som sten og stellet knirkede ved den mindste bevægelse.

Not at all what pics indicate
The hotel is very very run down and the quality of bedding, towels are so poor. The room had missing tiles all over the floor and everything about it was low quality. Turn off the lights and ceiling was covered with stuck on glow stars. Young man at desk was very nice and man handling breakfast was also. Breakfast buffet was fine. Would have left immediately if i could gave gotten my money back.

Super convenient - there is a bus station located right outside the hotel that takes you to Positano and many other places! Also 4 restaurants located 2 minutes walk away so if you wanted to hang around the hotel as well there are many options to choose from. Staff super friendly and welcoming as well.

My husband and I had the best stay here for our honeymoon. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It was our first time in the Amalfi coast and they helped us navigate, organize transportation and suggested things to do/places to eat. We got to the hotel before check in time, so we left our luggage with them and went to the local beach. The beach is much farther than I had expected and was very crowded. We enjoyed Arienzo beach club much more. When we got back to the hotel to check in, they had already put our luggage in our room for us which was really nice. The room was clean and the terrace had incredible views. The breakfast buffet was huge and had so many delicious options.

The hotel staff are very rude and do not even help with you with your bags. Our room was awful and we paid decent money. The main problems were this ominous smell throughout the hotel, the AC was archaic and didn’t work, and the washrooms don’t have doors! We were mortified as it was our honeymoon and we decided to check out immediately after the first night of a 3 night booking and the owner was insulting us and saying we were lying about these conditions, and then was trying to force us to pay for a taxi that would’ve taken us to the airport 3 DAYS LATER. Awful experience and PLEASE AVOID

Vi bodde två nätter på det här hotellet och blev uppgraderade till ett bättre rum vilket alltid är positivt. Vi fick även mycket bra hjälp och service av personalen! Ligger bra till geografiskt med promenadavstånd till det mesta och till båda stränderna (rekommenderar främst Marina dei Praia). Rummet var stort och med stor balkong med havsutsikt. Själva möblerna var väldigt gamla och dörren till rummet väldigt tunn. Ett helt okej boende men jag hade hellre lagt lite mer pengar och hittat något med lite bättre standard.

Die Unterkunft hatte einen tollen Ausblick, ist aber leider in die Jahre gekommen. Die Gastgeber waren zum Teil äußerst unverschämt, wodurch wir uns nicht willkommen fühlten. Wir haben dieses Hotel u.a. wegen des Parkplatzes gewählt. Am Ankunftstag riet man uns auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zurück zu greifen, da die Straßenverhältnisse schlecht seien und hohe Parkgebühren verlangt würden. Diese nutzten wir auch vorwiegend. Als wir unser Auto jedoch brauchten (der Schlüssel musste abgegeben werden, damit die Autos in zwei Reihen geparkt werden konnten), waren die Gastgeber nicht erfreut und teilten uns mit, dass sie dafür sehr wenig Zeit hätten und wenn wir es öfter bräuchten, sollten wir uns einen Parkplatz suchen und dafür zahlen. Das Frühstück war enttäuschend. Es gab ein Buffet, welches für einen Aufenthalt bis zwei Tage sicherlich in Ordnung war, jedoch für unseren 10- tägigen Aufenthalt, keinerlei Abwechslung bot. Zudem wurde es einem von einem meist übellaunigen Mitarbeiter auf den Teller geknallt. Leider stimmt das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis in keinster Weise. Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel hat uns die Reise an die wunderschöne Amalfiküste vermiest und hinterlässt einen sehr bitteren Beigeschmack.

Hotelli oli perustasoa, mutta siihen nähden todella kallis. Juomat täysin ylihinnoiteltuja. Hotel manager tarjosi erittäin huonoa palvelua ja oli töykeä joka käänteessä. Syytti minua jälkikäteen jopa siitä, että polvessani ollut haava oli tehnyt tahran lakanaan. Tämä on mielestäni käsittämätöntä. Hotelli myös veloitti vesipullon hinnan siitä, kun eräs työntekijä antoi jäitä polvessani olleeseen haavaan. Ei mitään tilannetajua tai asiakaspalveluhenkisyyttä siis. Toki kaksi respan miespuolista työntekijää olivat oikein auttavaisia ja mukavia, mut ”hotel manager” pilasi fiiliksen. Näkymät kauniit, aamupala ok. Parveke oli turha, koska oli niin paljon hyttysiä, ettei siellä voinut oleskella. Se ei tietenkään ole hotellin vika, mutta olisi hyvä kertoa tällaisista etukäteen. Nyt maksoin extraa parveekkeellisesta huoneesta turhaan. Praiano on kiva, rauhallinen sijainti Amalfi Coastilla, mutta ei tässä hotellissa!

Super accueil
Très bon hôtel , et l’accueil est parfait ! On nous a bien expliqué les activités qu’il y avait à faire, les noms des restaurants ! Très bon service et super petit déjeuner avec des fruits frais ! Très copieux ! Le serveur Renato , nous toujours bien renseigné également ! J’y retournerai ! Robert

Overall, the hotel is a great value. Its in a good location in Praiano and is about a 20 minute walk to the beach. The local bus (which runs in Praiano and Positano) is right outside the hotel and the main bus is just a couple minute walk down the street. There is a not a LOT to do in Praiano so its important to keep in mind that you most likely will have to take a bus to another town for an activity/excursion etc. unless you research in advance to find boats that will pick you up in Praiano (which is possible). The busses can be crowded and do not always stay on schedule. There is a great restaurant (Kasai) right down the street but make sure you make a reservation! The biggest downside of this property is that the beds are very uncomfortable - you can actually feel the springs through the mattress.

Thanks for the nice review...Just a note to tell you that from Praiano there are private boats that go to Capri and along the Coast.We have excursion service in the hotel. Kind regards.
