They asked me for my visa to be legally in the country despite having already provided my passport as proof of identification. They proceeded to look into my passport, didn't even see the visa, and still proceeded to check me in - which begs the question why they were asking for my visa in the first place. I still wonder if they are trained to be immigration officers, but I'm strongly tempted to believe they are not. Something to consider before booking if you're sensitive to such discriminatory policies.

Very nice facility with nice staff with an advantageous location. 10 min to old town, very near to walkable distances, even to the national museum. Family friendly, delicious breakfast. Thanks for wonderful stay.

Very convenient location , walkable distance to the mall. Very goof food and bar. Bathroom amenities needed - large mirror , bathtub height is too high - substitute it with floor length tub

Hotel is in a great location 5-minute walk to the Namesti Republick Metro Station and there is also a local bus 194 that will take you to quite a few places and then stops 2 minutes from the Hotel. The Hotel offers a good breakfast, we didn't have an evening meal but had a good choice. The staff were excellent, Ilyas was very helpful on our first night and the next morning they switched our room with no worries when the guests opposite us were very noisy.

Staff very slack - asked for iron 15 mins was an Hours wait and 3 reception visits. Cleaner cleared room but took old towels and left none to use. Room made 2 of us bunged up blocked sinus, soon as out the room it's ok. My guess is damp issue. Wouldn't visit again

I flew into Prague for the purpose of spending the weekend with my son at his home in Pardubice, so only spent one night and one day in Prague. The Grand Majestic hotel was excellent value for money, located centrally for the old town square and its plentiful restaurants, bars and wonderful atmosphere. The checkin process was swift, friendly and efficient. My room was immaculate. Shower gel, hand wash, etc supplied in the bathroom, and tea/coffee making facilities in room. Storage room also available for luggage. Very nice hotel and would use again

What a super hotel! 10 minutes walk to the old square and just around the corner is a massive shopping Centre. Plenty of restaurants very close by. After the wonderful breakfast we didn’t need to eat all day until dinner time. All the staff were super friendly. Cannot fault this hotel in any way! If we come back will definitely be staying here again

Great location, lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. Only complaint was the shower was positioned in the corner or the bath which was unusual. We walked everywhere from the hotel, 5 minutes to the main square.

My first time in Prague was memorable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to anything I had trouble with. The breakfast buffet was delicious and even had an omelette section. The palladium was only a 5 minute walk so the location was perfect in my opinion. I only wish I stayed longer so I could've explored more around. All in all, this is a great hotel to stay for friends and families.

It was a very lovely experience, and they remembered my husband’s birthday and brought him a surprise champagne for breakfast , that was a very nice touch. The food was good and the service as well. The room was Normal. It was very convenient to walk everywhere so that was good.

Nice but spartan hotel with great location
This hotel is nice, the location is amazing, but it's spartan to say the least. The hallway lights turn off without motion, so when you get off the elevator, you're greeted by a dimly lit hallway, which was a little spooky. The twin beds only had a comforter nearly the exact same size as the mattress, meaning there was little extra blanket to cover up with. There was only one electrical outlet in the room, and it was deactivated if you removed the room key. It was across the room from the beds on the desk, but it did have an extension cord with a couple of extra outlets, just nothing near any of the beds. The staff was very friendly and super helpful with all of our needs.

Really enjoyable stay, room was clean and spacious. Service was perfect, all staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast options were excellent, well organised, and very tasty. Great location, walking distance to all main attractions and lots of good local restaurants nearby.
