Waited about 20 minutes before someone showed up at reception to check in. The hotel is old and worn, but the rooms were good and comfortable. If you get a good rate its worth it. Breakfast was great.

Very poor sleep quality - creaky and noisy old bed frame, uncomfortable pillows and mattress. Old dirty carpets, stains on chair and settee. Room needs a refurb. Staff not always available at reception, have to look for them. When you call the number - the recorded message says "send us an email"! Breakfast was okay, but not amazing. The lady checking room numbers at breakfast works hard. Fridge in the room is helpful, but no kettle. Location near Museum station is ok, but very busy noisy street, constant traffic and frequent sirens. Spa facilities advertised are paid separately and are ridiculously overpriced. The reason you don't see any reviews of it!

The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel’s location was excellent and very central. The breakfast was okay. The biggest issue was that we found silverfish in our bathroom. At first, we didn’t know what they were, but we ended up killing many of them. Unfortunately, more kept appearing, especially when the bathroom was dark. It was honestly quite unpleasant and made the room feel unclean.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was great, and the location was great. Rooms however need a refresh. The carpet is very old red carpet in poor shape. The fridge didn’t work and there was not a way to easily control the room temp.

The spa facilites were not avaliable as part of the room booking which was very disappointing. It was very misleading. It would be like hiring a car with a picture of a Ferrari on the website but when you show up you get given the keys for a Mini. The room itself was fine and the staff were fine.
