No complaints. Hotel is clean and staff friendly. Wifi good. The key cards for the room doors sometimes work sometimes don't. Very fiddly. 10 minutes walk from the old city.

Stayed four nights. I thought it was in old town but it is not. A large portion of municipal Poznan is called stare miasto. So it took a bolt anytime I wanted to go anywhere which was fine. It was nice having a restaurant on site. Open all day. Had dinner several times.

Although the hotel is not in old town, it is not far by taking the tram. The hotel is safe and staff are friendly English speaking. The breakfast is good but not super. Room service is good. My room is facing back of hotel which is garden like area. No complaints. By walking across the river for 15-20 minutes, there is a very nice shopping mall where there is large food court. It is not far from lake Malta.

Overall a mixed experience 50/50

Overall service and experience in line with other IBIS hotels as I have always enjoyed staying in those, first time stayed in 2* which explains why there is no kettle or tea/coffee in the room. Excellent for 2* family stay for overall cleanliness and service. Rooms very clean and fresh, and impressive outside and the communal area, nice to relax with a fireplace and a good restaurant, professional and helpful reception. There was an issue with the shower and got asked to move the rooms which was an inconvenience quickly reconciled with a voucher for free drinks which was a positive outcome. We did not buy the breakfast and came to relax on a family holiday to allow my family to get plenty of rest and sleep. Unfortunately, some of the cleaning staff would bang on the door so loud in a rude manner and were very unpleasant when door was opened, knowing the room is occupied so the privacy of us as guests was interrupted with an arrest-warrant style bang every morning which was both stressful and inconvenient. For both rooms we were placed in, the first door on the corridor where cleaning trolley was left constantly outside my door, with multiple cleaners blocking the way and being very noisy and impolite. Most staff were incredible, however did not feel safe to leave my belongings in room while going to explore, some were moved and sunglasses went missing, cleaning staff always coming in and out of rooms mine included, even though I did not request them to change towels/bedding.

Dated room but clean

I stay in alot of ibis hotels as i travel alot and this room 329 was the worst room,it must have been the last room in the hotel to be renovated! I paid extra for early checkin and i got some 1970s decor with alpine decal covering half the window so it didnt let light in or see out of and bed headboard that was like a shower rail with pillows tied to it,a small wooden garden fence around the wall, REALLY!! I didnt complain directly as it was only a 3 night stay and i dont spend much time in the room but any longer and i would of asked to be moved! I stayed in an ibis in Szczecin 3 days prior to arriving here at the same level and that room was great,modern and clean! Why the difference!

This is my go-to hotel when I visit Poznan. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable and there's a good buffet range for breakfast.
