We stayed there over a weekend. Property was expected and clean. Hosts even labeled all of the cabinets and doors so it was very easy to find anything we needed (seriously wish more hosts would do this). No problems checking in and a very reasonable check out process.
We had a lovely time here. It was a little cool for kayaking, but we explored nearby, hiked Green Mountain (fantastic views of the Olympics and Seattle - and ripe huckleberries), Poulsbo & Bainbridge. It was a great home base for us. Saw seals & harbor porpoise and amazing sunsets from the deck and living room.
Four girlfriends met for good food/wine, reading, game playing and talk. The house was perfect. We explored cute Poulsbo and had a great dinner at a tapas restaurant there. The grounds were beautiful with huge old fir trees and an amazing view of the bay and snow-capped Olympic mountains. This is an incredible property.
Booked this house for a wedding weekend. We did not spend much time here, but it is a beautiful spot!! Hot tub was great, kitchen is well stocked, beds comfortable (although the bunkbed space is rather unusual in the turret.) 🤗 The only two comments I would make are that there needs to be some pruning of briars done around the steps going down to the beach as they are overhanging. Also, there are kayaks here, but getting them to the water would be very difficult!
My family chose this location for an annual girls’ weekend, and we would happily go back. The beautiful full water view at this property alone made the stay worthwhile. The house was also very well kept, and quite comfortable for the 6 of us. The kitchen could have been slightly better-equipped (for example, there were no large mixing/serving spoons), but their dishware/glassware were of better quality than we’ve found typical at rental locations. Cleanliness was great, and communication with the property manager was always prompt, clear and friendly. A real gem, and worth a repeat stay.
Very cute place. Upon arrival the heat was cranked to almost 80 in a few rooms but we were able to cook them down quick enough. The kitchen is a little sparse, with mis matched pots and pans, but served us well enough. One of the cutting boards was broken when we arrived and broke further upon washing it. The hot tub was also set at 89 when we arrived and took a full night to get up to 103.
Aside from that, the location was fantastic, the house was spacious and nicely decorated. Everything is well labeled. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back! We saw a seal from the house too!!
I will say the view is beautiful. We booked this home for that reason, and thought it would be nice to relax in the hot tub enjoying the view. We arrived and found the hot tub broken with no water. I did call the host and they gave us a 65 dollar credit. I would have expected more since we paid over $700 for two days. But the most important issue was the awful smell the entire house had. We spent the two days with most windows open. The smell is of mold and mildew. I will not recommend or stay again for that reason.
The house is cute, plenty of space. The check-in process was tricky as we arrived when it was dark and the front porch, where the lock box was located, didn't have a motion sensor light, but we used the flashlight on our camera to get to the key. It did take a bit for the house to warm up after we turned the heat up, but then it was cozy. The pictures show that there is a walkable space on the beach, but during out stay the beach was not accessible as the water came up right to the edge of the land. Attempted to communicate with the management company to find out what type of coffee maker the house had (filter vs pod) and if filter if there were any at the house. Never received an answer back. FYI, it's a filter type and there were a couple of filters there. The house is located within 10 minutes of downtown Poulsbo, which was nice to walk through.

The unfortunate but inevitable result of capitalism
The property is located in a beautiful, quiet area with a gorgeous view of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains. We saw a range of animals including otters and eagles. The house is spacious, comfortable and mostly well-supplied. There is an issue with mildew in the bottom floor which made one bedroom unusable for our group.
Also the house appears to be owned by a real estate or investment company that employs a management company to oversee its portfolio of properties and the booking app sites. That's why you'll pay a "service fee" and "host fees" on top of your nightly rate. They will attempt to upsell you with insurance and have you sign their contract. If there's an issue - say the hot tub is out of service without warning - you'll talk to several apologetic but not terribly plugged-in "co-hosts" who will attempt to solve the issue within their restricted means.
But the view was great.
Check in was a breeze. The property and all of its entirety was very beautiful. Definitely take some time to enjoy the lake and the views. The hosts were great and responsive!
We were in Poulsbo for my Daughters wedding found this Lovely House with a Beautiful view! Really enjoyed our stay! The sunsets were Amazing to watch from the Deck! Hope to stay there again!
Very clean and plenty of room for the 3 adults and 2 teens that were on our visit. So much wildlife out the front window along with the occasional submarine passing.
Lovely , home peaceful area, fantastic views.
Kitchen was a bit sparse on kitchen items fir creating full meals but we made due. Over all very peaceful.
We especially liked watching the Trident subs going by. The steps were too much for two older ladies to get to the beach and it’s not a beach you want to sit on. Except for crab crackers the how’s well appointed.

False information
The home had all that we needed. We were disappointed on the access to beach area. Were not able to use kayaks. The stairs leading to beach were very unsafe. The bottom of steps were blocked by big trees.
