"Nice rooms, walking path passing on the bay side, quiet, helpful staff. "

"We were given a room on the second floor (and advised that there was no elevator-traveling with 82 year old mother). Upon entering room was hit by an overpowering smell of "wet dog". Heater did not work in either of the rooms we had. We were moved to a first floor room that had working heater/ac. Carpeting in hall and stairs looked stained. We did not have housekeeping for the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast service was good."

"Our room on the first floor was very clean and tidy, two well made queen beds, that were firm, but not too firm -- but the pillows were kind of too soft and squishy. TV channels were limited and the bathroom/toilet area was tiny. But the breakfast room was pleasant and bright and the breakfast dishes a nice surprise with great sausage links, cheese filled egg omelets, and a waffle maker, along with the usual various pastries, juices, etc. They offered both regular coffee AND a jug of decaf, a nice surprise, as some places do not. All together, for the price of $139 plus the usual taxes, this was a good choice."

"I am unable to rate any of the amenities because we didn't stay. We booked a handicap accessible room only to find out, upon arrival, they didn't have one. No phone call, email or text before we got there. We spent the next 4 hours calling and driving around the area trying to find a room. We ended up staying 30 minutes away (rather than 5 minutes) from the hospital I was having day surgery at the next day. "

"The photos in the VRBO listing are already great, but almost don’t do it justice! This is such a great home i could see from the moment we drove up. Even in winter time too. There was so much room for six of us with the downstairs and upstairs living areas. The kitchen is stocked well for cooking. The king bed we slept on was fantastic, and there are enough bathrooms to accommodate us all. ALSO we happened to be there in beautiful weather and the ever elusive Olympics popped out both days for us. The house is on a lovely street and it was nice enough to sit outside and look at the view. As usual the town of Poulsbo has lots to offer. The Brass Kracken was lots of fun. Scott was great to deal with and while we didn’t have many questions to ask of him because everything was just fine when we arrived, he always responded quickly and was ready to help. We look forward to coming back! "

"The house perfectly met our needs and was just what was described. We are a bunch of foodies and the kitchen accommodated everything we through at it including a birthday cake."

"Pros: the view is obviously amazing with a nice deck and yard facing the water.The kitchen was VERY well stocked with every pot, pan, dish, cup, etc. They also provided the necessary stuff for a shower along with plenty of towels and wash rags. Cons: I am a private person and I felt quite uncomfortable, especially at night, with so few window coverings. If they would put up more blinds and curtains, I would have been much more comfortable.Also, the carpet in the small bedroom was so disgusting. I hated to even walk on it. I'm assuming they were stained from pets peeing on them. But it was truly gross.I'd highly recommend pulling up that carpet. Anything would be better than that stuff. "
