The location is rural, but the facility is top notch. A grand staircase greets you as you enter the main lobby.
As a group, we occupied three rooms.
Our only issue was the lack of room air conditioning (but iist say the temps while we visited were the highest in almost 80 years).

「Just a lovely place to stay with great staff and friendly atmosphere. This is a “proper” castle - built 900 years ago. We ate at one of the restaurants and had a lovely meal. Gardens have several walks including a long walk through local woods which we enjoyed. 」
