Happy Valley Home

Very spacious and comfortable. Great for large or multiple families. Host responds quickly to communication. House does have lots of stairs, a steep driveway and long entrance stairway. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. However, it has a substantial outdoor area and wonderful views.Many amenities nearby. Easy access to freeway, restaurants, airport and shopping.

This was a very big home that was close to the highway for sightseeing and only about 15 minutes to the airport. There was plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. It was in a very nice, quiet neighborhood that was close to restaurants. We enjoyed staying there. As mentioned in previous reviews it probably is not a good choice for people with mobility issues as there are lots of steps. It was a very good choice for us and we would definitely stay there again

Really nice location and house overall. However The stairs were steeper than expected. And it wasn’t quite as clean as expected. Spiders and centipedes in almost every room.

Great Family Getaway

Had a great stay. House was properly appointed and maintained. Hosts were super responsive. Lots of tv options for families that can’t agree about what to watch.

Happy Valley

The house was very nice and clean. The owners were easy to communicate with. The biggest drawback to this property is the very steep driveway. It had a lot of pinecones and our car would not go up the driveway without spinning the tires. Once you get the car up the driveway if you do, there are approximately 28-30 steps up to the house. So if you have any mobility issues or small children, this would be a deal breaker.

Great space and location

Lots of stairs and minimal parking but we knew that from previous reviews. Amount of space and location was great for us. Only drawback was the overall cleanliness of the home. I would recommend a deep clean and maybe replacing some items like throw pillows and kitchen items. Many of the dishes were dirty - lipstick marks and sticky knives. I might just be really picky. Overall we would stay again.

Perfect smart home!

I am so glad I found this wonderful listing! I had my bridesmaids stay the night with me before my wedding day and there was so much space to share meals together, for everyone to get ready in the morning, and a large fridge to store all our food and drink items. I had a stress free wedding eve and morning at this lovely location! Would stay again!

Family Vacation

The house was very nice with lovely views from the dining room. The location was great! The layout of the house worked well for our family and the number of bathrooms was great. Everything in this smart system enabled house is labeled well. Roomy and comfortable common areas in kitchen, living room, and dining room. Loved having a primary bedroom with bathroom on the main floor! All the beds were very comfortable. Some minor suggestions for improvement: Stock more toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for guests. Also no kleenex. We purchased more of these things and left whatever we didn't use for future guests. The back patio area could use some TLC. We opted not to use it or the outdoor grill because of that. Vertical blinds were missing some individual strips in both sliding door windows in primary bedroom. Overall we thought the house was super nice and would definitely recommend staying there to friends and family.

Great host and beautiful house

The view was incredible! The interior and the accessories were amazing. 12 ladies who participated the 40th HTC used this luxury house as their home base during the race. We cooked our meals without any issues. We did our laundry as well. There were two sets of washer and dryer. Although our host was away, we had no problem of communicating with them Things were taken care of promptly.

Needs some TLC, NOT ADA FRIENDLY

House and property were nice but not in great condition. The photos are a bit deceptive. I feel that the $200 cleaning fee is excessive for the state the house was in upon arrival. It was tidy but in no way would I consider it professionally cleaned. Here is a list of stuff we encountered during our stay: -Scuffs and dings on walls throughout the house -Entry window sill covered in dead bugs/dust -The couch in living room is ripped/taped -Black bar stool unsafe/falling apart -Floor not very clean, hair throughout the house -Scuffs on floor -Hair in shower -Upstairs washroom missing knob on shower -Scuffs on entertainment top -Cupboard doors throughout house loose/don’t hang right -Kitchen drawers rubbing the wall -Dishwasher buttons missing -Both Apple TV remotes missing, couldn’t use Apple TV’s -No remote for sound system, couldn’t use sound system -Bulb above bar not working -Lamp in bedroom not working although it’s plugged in -Burn hole in comforter -Many dishes in cupboards were dirty/used -Found drugs and various items hidden behind art on shelf in bedroom, we flushed the drugs -Futon is stained and covered up with a blanket to hide Broken outlet/switch plates -Outdoor garbage and recycle full -Not enough towels or wash cloths -Sticky handles on cupboards -Downstairs master suite door broken upper lock, door doesn’t operate properly The driveway is steep and there are steep stairs from the driveway to the entrance. There are also stairs from the main floor to the bedrooms. If you have to unload a lot of stuff like we did or are someone with limited mobility I don’t recommend this property. Overall, it served its purpose but we would not book again.

Beautiful Home with beautiful view

This home was beautiful and was accommodating for my family of 11. During our trip, Oregon’s weather was extremely hot and unfortunately the air conditioner did not work very well which was the only downside of our stay. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home.

Quite culdasac

Nick and Kim were very quick to respond. They helped us add on an extra day last minute. We were there for a family wedding and cooked several meals in the house. Smart system was down but we made due. Although It does make it feel like you are being monitored. Which didn’t feel great. Beds were comfortable. Although several lights in the house are attached to motion sensors. Which is very jarring in the middle of the night. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect spot!

My partner and I got married this past weekend and most of our bridal parties were from out of town. It was so lovely to find such a perfect spot for us and our friends to be together and relax among all of the wedding business. The view was spectacular and the house had everything we needed.

The Great for large group. Be cautious if you have people who are less ambulatory.. Lots of steps

This was a great property for a large group, but we had 4 octogenarians who needed to navigate stairs to the property, which could have been difficult without younger people to help.

Nice home in residential area

The home was nice and as described. It was located in a quiet residential area so there were rules about noise. There are many reviews that mention the stairs and I will do the same so others are aware and stay safe. There was ice on the stairs when we stayed which made the stairs extremely dangerous. Once we purchased salt for the stairs it was safer. There were no lights on the stairs so going in and out when it was dark out was difficult.
