"Excellent accommodation that exceeded our expectations but unfortunately the main idea of our stay was to enjoy the wellness facilities which were closed and we should have been informed prior to arrival. Being in February and the weather not being warm enough to enjoy the outdoor pool ( or beaches ) we definitely were looking forward to enjoying sauna and jacuzzi as well as indoor pool . We would have chosen another resort should we have known."

"Casa Luza is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway.It’s a five minute drive into town and the beach. Close to two large grocery stores that have everything you need. The location is ideal, an easy drive to all the trails and towns along the coast.We enjoyed a month at Casa Luza and would highly recommend it. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for next year."

"Beautiful property. Stunning gardens, including lemon and banana trees, herb bushes, flowers even in winter. So family friendly with safety gates and fenced pool, some toys. The disk swing,ping pong and beach balls were big hits! Washer AND dryer. Great kitchen stocked with equipment, spices. A lot of nice seating areas, indoors and out. Covered patio for grilling on bbq. Carvoeiro is pretty central for touring around and several nearby good restaurants. Rens is a nice guy who communicated quickly.Downsides: it is a steep walk into town and there is traffic on the roads. The pool circulation system wasnt working so we had no heating for the pool. This should have been identified by the manager before we arrived. There had been quite a bit of rain, however, so that may have affected how warm the pool could get, and our swim time would have been limited. Nonetheless, this villa is a great spot for a group and we loved the place."

"The property is very cool. With art and vineyards surrounding you, it was a surreal experience. Our room was lovely, the staff friendly, and our wine tasting and host was perfect (separate reservation required). My only complaint were the three long flights of stone stairs down to our room, which is not a problem with small bags! There is an access road we could have used, but it was not mentioned upon check-in unfortunately. "

"A very nice resort. We decided to take a Bolt to the one of the towns near by and to our selected attractions and end up the transportation cost is still reasonably. Mini-golf and tennis is available. Swimming pool is very clean and well maintained. Pool side breakfast is very enjoyable. Mimosa is included in the breakfast!"
