Just letting you know that the handyman was able to fix the ac he said one of the lines froze up. And he fixed the tub. Everything is good to go let us know if you need anything else. We received no refund with Broken AC

A few updates
1) the trash people came by for the rest of the neighborhood today but did not pick up the trash that your team had already set out at this address. I wanted you to know the trash is full from the prior tenants (not ours). And I will leave our trash inside to keep from animals getting into it (not sure what else to do)
2) the air conditioning is not being able to keep up. I know it’s august in Houston which is tough. The prior tenants set the thermostat down to 58. We haven’t changed it. During the day it us 82-83 degrees inside the house. And at night the coolest it gets is to 78 degrees. I can send photos if that would be helpful. Not sure what the issue is, but honestly, it’s hot and uncomfortable for us all. Since the prior tenants had it set at 58, we think this is probably not a new problem
3) the larger bathroom tub and sink drains very slowly. We are Standing in dirty shower water as we are showering. I wanted you to know that was present on the day we arrived (not something new from us). the prior tenants had removed the stopper entirely so this may not be a new issue (and it is not a stopper issue).
Since we are pretty hot and uncomfortable here, sadly, we are cutting our vacation short and heading out today. I can’t open VRBO app here to check the checkout instructions, but we will sack trash in the house since the outdoor trash can is overfull from the prior tenants. I will also leave used towels in the washing machine.
My husband would like us to ask for a partial refund since the AC doesn’t seem to be working. I don’t know how partial refunds work, but I have cc’d hi
