"This property is beautiful, the only problem was a long journey from our room which was located quite a distance away from the amenities/pool/main property. The journey for BF or to pool/main service area, ANYTHING was almost a 7 minute walk up & down steep on-property road, inside and outside other buildings w stairs, past the cactus row, up 2 more flights - and this walk was recorded by my friend to send to husbands so they wouldn’t get lost. We did not stay in the “annex”, which I was told was across the street from property, but there are multiple different levels/buildings, etc. our room had a beautiful view & a generous balcony. We were shown other rooms after c/o of location but basically still a distance and rooms not as nice. The breakfast was excellent, the pool area gorgeous. The staff werenot too friendly, and daily charge for pool towels (2.5eu) a charge to purchase swimming cap (must be worn in pools), but I saw a woman wearing the plastic shower cap from bathroom and she was not asked to purchase a swim cap. There is a pool party once or twice week, for guests, and nice to dance. Drinks are accompanied by chips/nuts/taratelli, nice treat. If you are physically fit, used to hiking, have more than 2-3 night stay so you can learn the property, this is lovely place. It is close to a bus stop and you can walk to the beach (very carefully) using the road (stairs from property were too rough for husband). Lovely property but limitations."

"Fantastic hotel. Staff helpful. Great facilities including 3 nice pools and small pool for kids. Kids club throughout day. Only slight area for improvement is breakfast - staff lovely but once food starts running out it isn’t replaced so if you arrive at 0930-45 then often no more fresh melon/watermelon and no bread rolls left. Apart from this everything superb"

"The property is outside Forio and you are heavily dependent on their shuttle schedule, unless you are ready to spend between 40 to 60 euro round trip by taxi. I think they had a shuttle coming back to the property at 7:30 pm and the next one at 11 pm, so before booking really think where you plan to spend time the most. If it is the hotel, then this may be your best option."

"If you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not for you. But if you want a clean and comfortable place to stay that is affordable, you can’t beat it. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed!"
